Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. Simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Dean Watts, #14, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up through even the most sweltering Top End afternoon out at Norbuilt Oval.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Crocs reaching a milestone at the same time? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both on a single banner. Provide each player's name, guernsey number, and milestone for a standout tribute the whole club will cheer for.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Honour 3 to 6 players at once with our Team Banner option. Your top-line message could read "Southern Districts Crocs - Our Champions" and take centre stage at your next presentation night or end-of-season celebration. Perfect for celebrating a premiership squad or a season of standout performances.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are made on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Hang them in the Crocs clubrooms, a garage, or a games room - a proud display of a player's achievements for years to come.
Grand Final Banners
Run through in style with a Grand Final banner measuring 4.5m or 5.5m, fully customised with your top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice to ensure Southern Districts Football Club makes a statement on finals day.
About Southern Districts Football Club - The Crocs
Origins and Founding
The Southern Districts Football Club was established in 1981 when a group of parents in Darwin's rural area sought to give junior players a chance to compete in organised football. The club entered the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) with one junior grade and a C-grade men's competition in 1981, before progressing to full league participation in 1987/88. The Crocs are based at Freds Pass Reserve in Bees Creek, approximately 33 kilometres southeast of Darwin, and have grown into one of the Northern Territory's most prominent community clubs.
Club History
The Crocs claimed their first NTFL Premier League premiership in 1997/98, a milestone that established the club as a genuine force in Territory football. Further premierships followed in 2006/07 and 2017/18, with the 2024/25 season delivering a Men's Premier League flag as well. The club was named the 2022/23 TIO NTFL INPEX Big Club of the Year, recognising its contribution across all age groups and competitions. Southern Districts has produced AFLNT talent at the highest level, and the club's list of life members reflects decades of service from players, coaches, and volunteers who have shaped the club's identity since 1981.
Home Ground
The Crocs play their home games at Norbuilt Oval within Freds Pass Sport and Recreation Reserve at Bees Creek. The reserve is a major multi-sport hub in the Litchfield Municipality, also hosting cricket, rugby, equestrian events, and the popular Freds Pass Rural Markets. The oval provides a true rural football atmosphere, with the club welcoming all visitors to experience the hospitality of a country football club just 33 kilometres from Darwin's CBD.
Community and Programs
The Crocs field teams across a wide range of age groups each NTFL season, from junior grades through to the Premier League. The club runs boys and girls junior competitions as well as men's and women's senior teams, making it one of the most comprehensive community clubs in the Northern Territory. The 2024/25 season saw premierships across the Under-12 Girls, Under-14 Girls, Under-16 Boys, and Men's Premier League grades, with Wyatt Ryan named the 2024/25 Chaney Medal winner.
Bees Creek and Darwin's Rural Area
Bees Creek is a rural residential locality within the Litchfield Municipality, located approximately 33 kilometres southeast of Darwin's central business district. The area is characterised by large rural blocks and a strong community spirit, and Freds Pass Reserve acts as the region's main recreational and sporting hub. The Southern Districts catchment covers a broad swathe of Darwin's rural fringe, drawing players from across the Litchfield and Palmerston regions.
The Crocs compete in the NTFL and call Norbuilt Oval, Freds Pass Reserve home.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
