All artwork to be supplied as print ready PDF with the following specifications:
- Artwork to be CMYK Format
- Artwork to be 1550mm High with no bleed or trim/cut marks and be either 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4.5 or 5.5 metres wide, pricing as per the selections on this page.
- Photographs or Raster Artwork to be 300DPI resolution at full size. You can send artwork at 10% size if you want to reduce file size.
- All fonts to be outlined and images embedded, not linked.
- Artwork to be emailed to info@footybanners.com. for any questions call 0488 288 243. If file size is too large we can send a dropbox link for sending artwork to us.
Wall Banners: We now have wall banners available to display on your wall at home, and/or for other players to sign with a message on your special day as a keepsake. These are always only an addition to a full size banner, and will be made with the same design.
There are 3 sizes available to order, Small, Medium or Large. Wall Banners are printed in the same proportion as your full sized banner, in the Wall Banner width selected. Wall Banners are printed on thick poster paper so they will last for many years. Select the Wall Banner you would like, and we will send it together with your Footy Banner! (just type anything in the boxes for name and number of games, it will be printed the same as your full size one anyway)
Grand Final Banners: We have Grand Final Banners in 2 sizes, 4.5m wide or a HUGE 5.5m wide one, we can write whatever slogan or words you want on it at both the top and bottom of the banner, just call us if you have any questions.

Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

Creating the Break-Through Slits

Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

💡 Tips & Tricks

Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
