When a Beaudesert Kingfisher earns a milestone worth celebrating, FootyBanners.com is ready to help you mark it in style. Our custom banners are built for proud moments - from milestone games to grand final run-throughs.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. To customise your banner, provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Kyle Barton, #11, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will survive even the most sweltering Queensland afternoon out at Willis Park.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Kingfishers reaching a milestone together? Our Two Player banner lets you put both players on the same banner for a double celebration the whole club can enjoy. Just supply both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone being celebrated.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrate 3 to 6 players at once with our Team Banner option. Picture the Kingfishers running out under a banner reading "Beaudesert Kingfishers - Our Champions" - perfect for a grand final, a presentation night, or an end-of-season celebration.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks designed to last. Display them in the Kingfishers clubrooms, at home, or in the rumpus room as a permanent tribute to your player's career.

About Beaudesert Kingfishers Rugby League Club
Origins and Founding
The Beaudesert and District Junior Rugby League Football Club, known as the Beaudesert Kingfishers, was formed in 1962 when a meeting of interested parties gathered at the Grand Hotel in Beaudesert to re-form the local rugby league club. As documented on Wikipedia, the club adopted the Kingfisher as its emblem in 1973. In its early years the club participated in the Brisbane Church League and the Brisbane Commercial League, and in 1976 was one of five founding clubs of the new Gold Coast District Rugby League competition.
Club History
The Kingfishers have accumulated premierships in 1964, 1978, 1983, 1984, 1990, 1991, 2001, 2004, 2009, 2010, and two flags in 2011. The club competed in the Gold Coast Rugby League from 1976 until 1996, then switched to the Ipswich Rugby League from 1997 to 2001 before rejoining the GCRL in 2002. Notable players to have come through the Beaudesert juniors include Jamal Fogarty (Gold Coast Titans, 2017), Keith Gee and Andrew Gee (both Brisbane Broncos and Gold Coast Seagulls), and Mark Gee (Gold Coast Seagulls).
Home Ground
The club is based at R.S. Willis Park on Peterson Street in Beaudesert. The land was purchased by the club in 1970 with the intention of building a dedicated sporting complex, and the first games at the venue were played in 1972. The ground was formally named R.S. Willis Park in recognition of Ron Willis's long contribution to rugby league in the Beaudesert district. The club has historically also hosted touch football, netball, and basketball at the facility.
Programs and Community
The Beaudesert Kingfishers currently field teams in all junior grades from under 8s through to under 15s, with the Gold Coast Titans Ambassadors program supporting development pathways for the club's young players. The club has long been a central community institution in the Scenic Rim, giving children and families in the Beaudesert district a home in one of Queensland's most popular community sports.
Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim
Beaudesert is a regional town in the Scenic Rim area of Queensland, located approximately 70 kilometres south of Brisbane and 60 kilometres west of Surfers Paradise. The town recorded a population of 6,752 at the 2021 census and serves as the major service hub for the Scenic Rim Regional Council area, which has a broader population of around 44,000. Known for its rural heritage and agricultural activity, Beaudesert is the gateway to the Scenic Rim's hinterland, rainforests, and national parks.
The Kingfishers compete in the Gold Coast Rugby League and call R.S. Willis Park, Beaudesert home.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
