Celebrate your Falcons in true style with a custom banner from FootyBanners.com. Whether it's a milestone appearance, a big win, or a season of hard work worth honouring, we create personalised banners that showcase your Sunshine Coast Falcons pride for all to see.

Simple to Order

Ordering your Falcons banner is quick and simple. Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final options, then provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Mitch Ryan, #18, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that's tough enough to handle a sweltering Queensland afternoon at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Falcons reaching a milestone together? Our Two Player banner makes the moment even more memorable. Provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll combine them on a single quality banner that gives each player their moment in the spotlight.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Recognise the whole squad with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Top it with a powerful message like "Sunshine Coast Falcons - Taking Flight Together" and celebrate the team that's made the season something special. Ideal for milestone rounds, finals campaigns, or end-of-season nights.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes and are printed on thick recyclable paper using waterproof inks built to last the years. Display one in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room and wear your Falcons pride on the wall every day.

Grand Final Banners

When the Falcons are eyeing the premiership, we'll help you run through in style. Grand Final banners are available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customisable top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and let's help the Sunshine Coast Falcons Football Club make their grand final run one to remember.

About Sunshine Coast Falcons

Origins and Founding

The Sunshine Coast Falcons Rugby League Club was formed in 2006 with the express purpose of creating a pathway to the Queensland Cup for locally developed Sunshine Coast players. For their first three seasons, the Falcons competed in the FOGS Cup reserve grade competition before being accepted into the QRL's main Intrust Super Cup competition in 2009.

In 2009, the club formed a feeder team affiliation with the Manly Sea Eagles and rebranded as the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles. In their very first QRL Cup season, the newly rebranded side won the 2009 Intrust Super Cup Premiership, defeating the Northern Pride 32-18 in the grand final held at Kawana. After the Manly affiliation ended following the 2010 season, the club rebranded back to the Sunshine Coast Falcons in 2014 and signed a feeder team affiliation with the Melbourne Storm - a partnership that continues to this day.

Club History

The Sunshine Coast Falcons have built a strong reputation in the QRL's Hostplus Cup competition since their return to the Falcons name in 2014. In 2017, the Falcons reached the Intrust Super Cup Grand Final at Suncorp Stadium, narrowly losing to the Papua New Guinea Hunters 12-10 in a match the Falcons led for most of the game. The 2017 grand final was historic - the first time a team from outside Queensland won the QRL Cup.

The Falcons took out the 2019 Minor Premiership after winning their first 14 games of the season, and were again strong finals contenders in 2022, finishing second on the Hostplus Cup ladder before falling to the Norths Devils in the Preliminary Final. As of 2025, the club fields five teams across the Hostplus Cup, Under-21s, Under-19 Women, Under-18s, and Under-16s competitions.

The club's player development record is outstanding. More than 70 players who represented the Falcons have gone on to play NRL, including local juniors Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, Trent Loiero, Tyson Smoothy, and Jack Underhill. Other notable Falcons alumni include Daly Cherry-Evans, Scott Drinkwater, Harry Grant, and 2022 Dally M Medal winner Nicho Hynes.

Home Ground

The Falcons play at Sunshine Coast Stadium in Bokarina. The stadium was built with a capacity of 10,000 and has undergone expansions in 2011, 2017, and 2024. Following a major upgrade completed in 2025, capacity reached 20,000 - with redevelopment works partly in preparation for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games, for which the venue is scheduled to host football matches. The stadium also serves as a home ground for the Dolphins NRL team from 2023 and hosted Melbourne Storm NRL matches in 2020 and 2021.

A significant part of Falcons culture is the James Ackerman Medal, the club's player of the year award, named in honour of local junior James 'Ackers' Ackerman who tragically passed away during a QLD Cup match against the Norths Devils in 2015. The club's victory song concludes with the words "Every time we're doing it, we're doing it for Ackers."

Community and Programs

The Sunshine Coast Falcons operate the Footy Kidz junior development program and a Falcons Netball Club alongside the main rugby league competition, reflecting a broad commitment to community sport. The club is based at The SportsHub, Level 2, 26 Main Drive, Bokarina, and maintains close ties with schools and junior clubs across the Sunshine Coast region. With the Melbourne Storm NRL affiliation providing talent pathways to the elite level, the Falcons serve as a crucial bridge between grassroots rugby league on the Sunshine Coast and the NRL.

Sunshine Coast, Queensland

The Sunshine Coast is a coastal urban area in south-east Queensland, situated approximately 100 km north of Brisbane. It is one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, with a population that had exceeded 350,000 by the early 2020s. The area is known for its beaches, national parks, and outdoor lifestyle, and its sporting culture has grown significantly. The suburb of Bokarina, where Sunshine Coast Stadium is located, sits within the Kawana Waters precinct - a planned urban development that has emerged as the sporting and community hub of the Sunshine Coast.

The Falcons compete in the QRL Hostplus Cup and call Sunshine Coast Stadium, Bokarina, home. Visit the club website at scfalcons.com.au, follow the Falcons on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
