Vultures Banners - Honour Every Mount Gravatt Milestone

From a junior's debut to a senior player reaching a career milestone, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners for the Mt Gravatt Vultures family. Each banner is made to order and printed with your player's own achievement front and centre.

Simple to Order

Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner and send through the player's name, surname, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Sam Taylor, #14, 100 Games. We print on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper using permanent inks so your banner holds up through a humid Brisbane afternoon at the club.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Vultures reaching the same milestone game together? Send us both names and guernsey numbers and we'll combine them onto one quality two-player banner to mark the shared achievement.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a premiership side or a milestone team? Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players on one banner. A top-line message like "Mount Gravatt Vultures - Grand Final Glory" makes a proud statement, finished with a closing tagline the whole team will remember.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners use thick, recyclable paper and waterproof inks, perfect for the clubrooms, garage or games room as a lasting reminder of a Vultures milestone.

Grand Final Banners

Send your team out under a 4.5m or 5.5m Grand Final Banner, fully customised with your own top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice if you'd like help creating the perfect banner for Mount Gravatt Australian Football Club.

About Mount Gravatt Australian Football Club

Origins and Founding

Mount Gravatt Australian Football Club, nicknamed the Vultures, was formed in 1964 in Brisbane's southside. Long before joining the modern QAFL, the club competed in the South Queensland Australian Football Association from the early 1970s, claiming premierships in 1971, 1972, 1974 and 1983, as recorded in the club's Wikipedia history.

Club History

Mount Gravatt has been affiliated with AFL Queensland since 1994 and won QAFL premierships in 2002 and 2007, defeating the Southport Sharks on both occasions, with runner-up finishes in 1996, 1997, 2003 and 2009. From 2011 to 2013 the club was a founding member of the North East Australian Football League, reaching a preliminary final in its debut season. A number of Vultures have gone on to play AFL and VFL football, including Darryl White with the Brisbane Bears and Brisbane Lions and Shaun Hampson with Carlton and Richmond. Mick Stinear won the club's Grogan Medal in 2004, and Frazer Neate claimed the honour in 2019.

Home Ground

The Vultures play home games at Southside Toyota Oval, also known as Ron McClennan Oval, part of the Dittmer Park sporting complex on the corner of Logan and Klumpp Roads in Upper Mount Gravatt. The ground has hosted Mount Gravatt football for decades and remains the base for the club's senior, junior and representative teams.

Community and Programs

Alongside the QAFL senior program, the club fields junior teams through the Mount Gravatt Vultures JAFC, giving local boys and girls a pathway from their earliest years through to senior football at Dittmer Park. The Vintage Vultures group keeps former players connected to the club, reflecting the strong sense of history and community around the Nest.

Upper Mount Gravatt

Upper Mount Gravatt is a southern Brisbane suburb around 12.5 kilometres from the CBD, home to just over 10,800 residents at the 2021 census. The suburb is well known for the Westfield Mt Gravatt shopping centre on Logan Road, a major retail and transport hub for Brisbane's southside.

The Vultures compete in the QAFL and call Southside Toyota Oval at Dittmer Park home. Visit the club website for fixtures and news, follow the Vultures on Facebook, and check out their Instagram for match day updates.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
