Kedron Lions Junior Football Club Banners - Celebrate Every Milestone on the Field

Whether it's a young Lion booting their 50th goal or running through a banner for the very first time, FootyBanners.com has you covered with a fully custom banner. From the under-13s to the under-17s, we make it easy to celebrate every milestone for the Kedron Lions Junior Football Club in style.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. For a player milestone banner, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Wilson, #7, 50 Games. All banners are printed with permanent, weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, so they hold up through even a sweltering Queensland afternoon out at the oval.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two young Lions on the same day? Our Two Player banner is the perfect solution. Both players need to be reaching the same game milestone, and you'll need both names and guernsey numbers. It's a quality way to honour two players and make the occasion truly memorable for the whole club family.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Bring the whole squad together with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Use the top line to shout out your whole group - something like "Go Kedron Lions Juniors!" - and add a rallying closing message that fires up the team before they hit the park. A brilliant option for end-of-season presentations or finals week.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that won't fade over time. Hang them in the clubrooms, a bedroom, garage, or games room as a lasting reminder of a standout season with the Kedron Lions Juniors. A keepsake the whole family will treasure.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m widths, our Grand Final banners can be fully customised with your own top and bottom text to capture the moment perfectly. If you need a hand with the design or wording for the Kedron Lions Junior Football Club's big day, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

About Kedron Lions Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Kedron District Junior Football Club was established as part of the Kedron Football Club, founded in 1937 by past pupils of Kedron and Wooloowin State Schools. The club debuted in the Queensland Australian National Football League (QANFL) that same year and quickly established itself as one of Queensland's leading football organisations. The junior program operates today as a sister organisation to the senior Kedron Football Club, working side by side to offer football for all ages and abilities from Auskick through to open-age competition.

Club History

The parent Kedron Football Club built a dominant record in Queensland football across the decades, claiming seven QAFL premierships in 1941, 1943, 1944, 1946, 1948, 1959, and 1980, as recorded on Wikipedia. In 1990 the senior club merged with Wilston-Grange to form the Kedron Grange Demons, before the two clubs separated again in 1996. Senior football resumed through the junior club's support structure, with QFA men's premierships following in 2007 and 2010. The Lady Lions women's team claimed the inaugural QFAW Division 1 premiership in 2019. One of the club's proudest historical links is Erwin Dorneau, recognised as the first born-and-bred Queenslander to play VFL/AFL football, who played for Kedron before being recruited by South Melbourne in 1948. The junior program today competes in AFL Queensland competitions for boys and girls across age groups from Under 8 to Under 17.

Home Ground

The Kedron Lions Junior Football Club calls E.K. (Ted) Anderson Oval home, situated at 100 Sixth Avenue, Kedron QLD 4031. The oval has a capacity of 3,000 and is shared with the senior men's and women's programs. A training field known as Terry (Tats) McMain Field sits alongside the main oval, providing additional space for junior and senior squads. The ground has been at the centre of Kedron football since the club's formation in 1937.

Community and Programs

The junior program caters to players from three years of age through to Under 17, with Auskick and Auskick Play for the youngest participants, a Juniors stream for Under 8 to Under 11, and a Youth stream for Under 13 to Under 17. The club runs inclusive programs for both boys and girls. In April 2026 the club held the Kedron Girls Footy Fest at E.K. Anderson Oval, reflecting its commitment to expanding girls' football in the region. The club also launched a dedicated umpiring initiative in 2026 to broaden community participation beyond playing.

Kedron

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
