Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Aaron Rowe, #5, 100 Games). Banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands up to a sweltering Queensland afternoon at Stenlake Park.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Bulls players share a milestone in the same match, our Two Player banner celebrates them both in one standout design. Supply both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll handle the rest from there.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

For groups of 3 to 6 players marking a milestone together, our Team Banner option covers everyone in one great design. Set a rallying top-line message like "Charge Bulls Charge!" and give your squad a run-through to remember.

About Glenmore Bulls AFC

Origins and Founding

The Glenmore Bulls AFC was established in 1968 as the Wandal Football Club, taking its name from the Wandal suburb of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. The club entered the Rockhampton Football Association in 1969, making it one of the founding clubs of the competition now known as AFL Capricornia. After more than 25 years playing as Wandal, the club rebranded as the Glenmore Bulls AFC in 1995, reflecting its broader community catchment in the Glenmore and Kawana area of north Rockhampton.

Club History

Under the Wandal name, the club enjoyed a golden era during the late 1970s and 1980s, claiming senior A-Grade premierships in 1976, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1988, 1989, and 1990 - a run that established the club as one of the powerhouses of Central Queensland football. After transitioning to the Bulls name, the club continued to compete strongly across all grades. The Reserves side won premierships in 2005 and 2007, and the Women's side claimed back-to-back flags in 2013 and 2014 and again in 2015 and 2016. The senior side returned to A-Grade premiership glory in 2014, defeating Yeppoon Swans in the Grand Final. The Bulls have since remained finals contenders, reaching the Grand Final in 2013 and 2018. In total, AFL Capricornia records credit Glenmore with 8 senior premierships, 7 reserves flags, and 3 Women's titles. Notable alumni include Gavin Urquhart, who played his junior football with the Bulls before being selected by North Melbourne with pick 21 in the 2006 AFL National Draft and going on to play 41 senior games, and ruckman Zac Smith, who played for the Gold Coast Suns and Geelong Cats after starting out in the Capricornia competition.

Home Ground

The Glenmore Bulls call Stenlake Park in Kawana their home ground. The ground is situated in the Kawana suburb on the northern fringe of Rockhampton, providing the club with a dedicated oval that also hosts junior and women's matches throughout the season. Stenlake Park has also served as a venue for AFL Capricornia inter-league matches, including a 2017 representative clash against AFL Mackay.

Community and Programs

The Glenmore Bulls pride themselves on being a family-oriented club, fielding teams across all nine AFL Capricornia competitions: A-Grade, Reserves, Women's, Under 17, Under 15, Under 13, Under 11, Under 9, and Under 7. This breadth of participation makes the Bulls one of the most community-engaged clubs in the league, which is one of only a small number of Queensland competitions outside Cairns and Brisbane to run a full pathway from Auskick through to senior women's and men's football. The club also participates in Auskick development programs linked to local schools in the Kawana and Glenmore area of Rockhampton.

Kawana

Kawana is a suburb located 5.5 kilometres north of the Rockhampton CBD in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, approximately 620 kilometres north-northwest of Brisbane. With a population of 4,434 at the 2021 census, Kawana is a predominantly residential suburb bordered to the west by the Fitzroy River. It sits within the broader Rockhampton urban area, a regional city of around 83,000 people that serves as the commercial and administrative capital of Central Queensland. The region is characterised by the beef cattle industry, the Capricorn Coast, and a strong sporting culture, with Australian rules football having been played in Rockhampton since 1873.

The Bulls compete in AFL Capricornia and call Stenlake Park, Kawana home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy
