Eastern Park Banners - Footy in the Heart of Adelaide's East

When Eastern Park takes the field on a cool Adelaide afternoon, a custom-designed FootyBanners.com run-through banner fires up the faithful and gives every player the best possible start to a game they have been preparing for all week. A great banner reflects the character of a club and Eastern Park has plenty of it.

Simple to Order

Ordering an Eastern Park banner is easy. Upload a player photo, add the message you want, and our design team handles the artwork. A proof is sent back for your sign-off before printing, so the finished banner is exactly as you imagined it.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Eastern Park players together on one banner is a great way to celebrate a standout combination or recognise co-captains who have given the club everything this season. The two-player banner creates a powerful image the whole club will value and remember.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the whole squad with a team banner for end-of-season presentations or club milestone events. Every Eastern Park player gets their place in a group photograph that tells the story of the season and everything the team achieved together.

Wall Keepsake Banners

A wall keepsake banner is a permanent tribute to a great season or a significant moment in Eastern Park's club history. Hang it in the clubrooms, give it to a retiring favourite, or display it at home as a lasting piece of football history from the eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

Grand Final Banners

When Eastern Park reaches the grand final, the whole community is right behind them. Our grand final banners are crafted for the biggest game of the season and ensure every player steps through the paper knowing exactly what the club has worked toward all year.

About Eastern Park Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Eastern Park Football Club was founded in 1962, competing initially in the Central District Football Association (CDFA) in South Australia. In their inaugural season, the Demons failed to record a win, but the following year brought their first A-Grade victory over rivals Elizabeth. The club steadily built its identity over the coming decades, growing from a fledgling side into a respected institution within the northern Adelaide football community.

Club History

Eastern Park's first grand final appearance came in 1964, losing to Elizabeth North, but the Demons kept developing. Their premiership breakthrough arrived in 1978 - their first of four CDFA flags - with three more following in 1980, 1981, and 1987. In 1988, the league was renamed the Northern Metropolitan Football League (NMFL) and the Demons contested another grand final that year, going down to Ovingham. The 1994 decider - the final NMFL grand final before the league disbanded in 1995 - saw Eastern Park fall to Brahma Lodge.

After the CDFA/NMFL era ended, Eastern Park joined the SAAFL (now the Adelaide Footy League), starting in Division 6. They claimed back-to-back Division 6 and 5 premierships in 1997 and 1998, then reached Division 4 runners-up in 1999 and 2002. A 2010 Division 2 premiership over PHOS Camden further elevated the club, and by 2016 Eastern Park claimed the Division 4 minor premiership, though they fell to Westminster Old Scholars in that year's grand final. The Demons now compete in Division 5 of the Adelaide Footy League, with their women's side in Women's Division 2.

Home Ground

Eastern Park plays their home games at Dwight Reserve in Elizabeth Park, South Australia. The ground serves as the club's central hub, hosting senior, reserves, and junior competitions. The reserve supports a strong match-day community atmosphere, with family attendance a feature of home games throughout the season.

Community and Programs

Beyond the senior teams, Eastern Park fields sides in the SANFL Juniors competition, giving young players in the Elizabeth Park area a pathway into the sport. The club runs women's football through Women's Division 2 of the Adelaide Footy League, reflecting a commitment to the growth of the women's game in the northern suburbs. Eastern Park maintains notable rivalries with the Smithfield Football Club and Elizabeth Football Club, adding extra edge to local derbies throughout the season.

Elizabeth Park

Elizabeth Park is a northern suburb of Adelaide located within the City of Playford, approximately 25 kilometres north of the Adelaide CBD. The suburb has an estimated resident population of around 4,580 (2025 estimate) and forms part of the broader Elizabeth district, one of South Australia's largest planned residential communities. The area is known for its strong community ties, multicultural population, and proud local sporting culture that has supported clubs like Eastern Park for more than six decades.

The Demons compete in Division 5 of the Adelaide Footy League and call Dwight Reserve their home. Follow Eastern Park on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
