Angle Vale Footy Banners
NOTE: As we are locals and sponsor Angle Vale Footy Club as footybanners.com, ALL Banners are $50 cheaper than other clubs. This discount is already applied and no discount code is required.
Footy Banners: Select your banner size and type using the menu, and type the players details as you'd like them to appear on the banner. First name, Last name and Guernsey number are the usual things! Then in the next box, Type how many games the milestone is for.
2 Player Footy Banners: The number of games played by both players needs to be the same, and we need to know both players names and guernsey numbers.
3 or More Player Footy Banners: To have 3 players and up to 6 players on a banner, select the Team Banner option, and type the names as you want them to appear on the banner. If the names are long, we may not have room for surnames or numbers as well, but type them in and we will do our best to fit as much as we can!
Team Footy Banners: Type what you'd like on the banner, as an example "Great team effort this year!" and your team slogan. In the first box, type what you'd like at the top of the banner, and in the second box, what you'd like along the bottom.
Wall Banners: We now have wall banners available to display on your wall at home, and/or for other players to sign with a message on your special day as a keepsake.
There are 3 sizes available to order, Small, Medium or Large. Wall Banners are printed in the same proportion as your full sized banner, in the Wall Banner width selected. Wall Banners are printed on thick poster paper so they will last for many years. Select the Wall Banner you would like, and we will send it together with your Footy Banner! (just type anything in the boxes for name and number of games, it will be printed the same as your full size one anyway)
Grand Final Banners: We have Grand Final Banners in 2 sizes, 4.5m wide or a HUGE 5.5m wide one, we can write whatever slogan or words you want on it at both the top and bottom of the banner, just call us if you have any questions.
About Angle Vale Football & Netball Club
Origins and Founding
Historical records show that Angle Vale had a football team competing in local competitions prior to World War II. The club was re-established in 1998 as a junior football club, initially serving the small township north of Adelaide. As residential development expanded the Angle Vale area through the early 2000s, the club grew steadily to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community.
Club History
In 2008, Angle Vale entered two senior men's teams into the Adelaide Football League competition, marking the club's transition from a purely junior outfit to a full senior football club. In 2016 the club transitioned to the Adelaide Plains Football League (APFL), competing with senior men's, senior colts, junior colts, and mixed junior age groups. The Owls have not yet claimed an APFL senior premiership but have been competitive across all grades as the club continues to build depth and experience at senior level.
The senior women's program has been competing in the Adelaide Football League for over ten years and claimed the Division 3 grand final in recent seasons. Several players developed through the Angle Vale pathway have gone on to be drafted to the AFLW and others have represented at SANFL level, reflecting the quality of the club's development pathways.
Home Ground
The Owls play their home games at Angle Vale Oval, located within the Angle Vale Sports and Community Association complex on Fradd Road, Angle Vale. The precinct is a shared multi-sport facility that also accommodates cricket, netball, tennis, and soccer, making it a central hub for community sport in the northern Adelaide Plains. The club's facilities have developed alongside the broader precinct as the City of Playford has invested in infrastructure to support the area's population growth.
Community and Programs
Angle Vale Football & Netball Club runs over thirty-five teams across four competitions, with more than 500 participants ranging in age from 7 to 50. The SANFL juniors competition grows year after year, with seventeen girls' teams competing in 2025. Netball was introduced through the Adelaide Plains Netball Association in 2022 and has grown quickly, with over 100 players. The club is managed entirely by dedicated volunteers and is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all members of the community.
Angle Vale
Angle Vale is a semi-rural town on the Adelaide Plains, situated between Gawler and Virginia in South Australia, approximately 35 kilometres north of the Adelaide CBD. It falls within the City of Playford local government area and had a population of 4,088 at the 2021 census. The town is surrounded by vineyards, farms, and the Gawler River corridor, and includes Trinity College's Gawler River campus and Angle Vale Primary School. Residential development has expanded significantly in recent years, bringing new families to the area and driving membership growth at the football club.

Footy Banner Information
All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.
We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it. if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.
On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.
