About Baldivis Brumbies Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Baldivis Brumbies Football Club was founded in 1986, beginning as a junior club before introducing senior teams as the suburb grew. For nearly four decades the Brumbies have served as the primary Australian rules football club for the Baldivis community in Perth's southern corridor. The club's growth has been closely tied to the extraordinary residential expansion of Baldivis, which has transformed from a semi-rural area into one of Perth's largest outer suburbs.
Club History
The Brumbies compete in the Peel Football League, which was formed in 1992, and have built a strong record across both senior and junior competition. The club has secured 8 senior premierships and 10 junior premierships across its history, reflecting consistent success at all levels of the club. With over 1,000 registered players, the Brumbies are one of the largest community football clubs in Western Australia by participation numbers. In March 2023 the club moved into the brand-new Baldivis Sports Complex, a state-of-the-art facility supported by $38.9 million in government investment.
Home Ground
The Brumbies' home base is the Baldivis Sports Complex, which opened in March 2023 and houses the club alongside the White Knights Baldivis Cricket Club. The complex features a main pavilion, multiple ovals, and indoor facilities, replacing the ageing facilities that had served the club since its foundation. The new precinct was designed to meet the demands of Baldivis's rapidly growing population and will serve generations of players and supporters.
Community and Programs
The Brumbies offer AFL Auskick for the youngest players and run junior, youth, and senior men's and women's teams across Peel Football League competition. With more than 1,000 registered players, the club provides football pathways for children and adults from the first kick through to senior competition. The club is deeply embedded in the Baldivis community and plays a central role in the social and sporting life of the suburb.
Baldivis
Baldivis is a rapidly growing outer suburb of Perth, located approximately 45 kilometres south of the Perth CBD and 11 kilometres south-east of Rockingham within the City of Rockingham. With a population exceeding 47,000 at the 2021 census, Baldivis is one of Perth's fastest-growing communities, attracting large numbers of young families who value affordable housing and new infrastructure. The suburb is characterised by new residential estates, parks, and community facilities built to accommodate the ongoing population surge.
The Brumbies compete in the Peel Football League and call the Baldivis Sports Complex home. Visit the club website for more information and follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.
Footy Banner Information
Material: All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet. They are fully recyclable.
How to Use: We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it. If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through. There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.
On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon! This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.
Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.Pro Tip: Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.
