Simple to Order

Ordering your Single Player banner is straightforward - just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone. For example, Riley Smith, #7, 100 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper built to survive even the most blustering Perth winter morning on the oval.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Basso players reach their milestone in the same round, our Two Player banner is the perfect solution. Simply provide both players' names and guernsey numbers, and we'll create a quality banner honouring both achievements on the one run-through.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Recognising 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option is ideal for those special round celebrations. Kick off your top line with something like "BASSO - BORN TO PLAY" and let the players run through something they'll never forget.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for clubrooms, a garage, or a games room. A Basso banner on the wall is a lasting reminder of a proud milestone moment.

About Bassendean Basso Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Bassendean Junior Football Club was founded in 1930, with local identity Dick McDonald the driving force behind its creation. From those early days, the club established itself as the primary junior football pathway for children growing up in the Town of Bassendean and the surrounding Eden Hill area in Perth's northeastern suburbs. The club competes in the Swan Districts Junior Football League, the regional junior competition aligned with the Swan Districts WAFL district, and has catered to players from Auskick through to Year 12 for nearly a century.

Club History

The club's history includes significant on-field milestones. In 1967, the Under 19 side won the premiership outright, and over the decades the club has accumulated multiple McDermott Cup victories. Perhaps the most celebrated product of the Bassendean JFC pathway is Andrew Embley, who was born in Bassendean on 27 June 1981 and learned his craft at Jubilee Reserve before progressing through the Swan Districts WAFL pathway. Embley was drafted by the West Coast Eagles with pick 57 in the 1998 AFL Draft, debuted in Round 1 of 1999, and went on to play 250 games over 15 seasons. He served as vice-captain of the Eagles from 2004 to 2007 and was a member of the 2006 AFL Premiership side. The club is also recognised by WA Football as the junior club origin of multiple players who progressed to WAFL and AFL level through the Swan Districts district.

Home Ground

The club's home ground is Jubilee Reserve on Robinson Road in Eden Hill. Jubilee Reserve is a 12.75-hectare district sports reserve managed by the Town of Bassendean and shared with the Bassendean Senior Amateur Football Club and Bassendean Cricket Club. In recent years the reserve has been the subject of a significant joint redevelopment funded by the State Government and the Town of Bassendean, upgrading facilities for all resident sporting clubs including the Junior Football Club.

Community and Programs

The Bassendean JFC runs a comprehensive junior program spanning every age group from Auskick (Prep to Year 2) through to colts level in Year 12, making it one of the most inclusive junior football clubs in Perth's northern suburbs. The club provides a clear pathway into the Swan Districts WAFL system and beyond. As a community-focused club serving families in the Town of Bassendean and the City of Bayswater, the JFC is an important part of the local sporting landscape and runs regular events throughout the football year to keep families and supporters engaged.

Eden Hill and Bassendean

Eden Hill is a suburb in the Town of Bassendean, located approximately 12 kilometres northeast of Perth's CBD and bordered by the Swan River to the south. The Town of Bassendean was gazetted in 1930 - the same year the junior football club was founded - and has since grown into a tight-knit residential community known for its heritage streetscapes, the Bassendean Heritage Trail, and strong community sporting culture. Jubilee Reserve sits at the heart of this community, with the Junior Football Club one of several sporting clubs that give Eden Hill its distinctive local character.

The Basso Junior FC compete in the Swan Districts Junior Football League and call Jubilee Reserve, Robinson Road, Eden Hill home. Follow them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
