Berkeley Panthers Banners - Central Coast Rugby League, Celebrated in Style
Since 1985, the Berkeley Vale Rugby League & Sports Club has been a powerhouse of Central Coast rugby league, and FootyBanners.com is proud to help the Panthers celebrate every milestone with a custom banner that honours that proud history.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Jake Stone, #8, 150 Games). Banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper built to handle a warm NSW Central Coast afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Panthers players hit the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner celebrates them both together in one strong design. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll handle everything from there.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Honouring 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option brings the whole group together in one banner. Set a top-line message like "Pounce Panthers!" and give the squad a run-through they'll never forget.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant addition to the Panthers clubrooms or a proud display at home to celebrate a great Berkeley Vale career.
About Berkeley Vale Panthers RLFC
Origins and Founding
The Berkeley Vale Panthers Rugby League Football Club was founded in 1985 in the suburb of Berkeley Vale on New South Wales' Central Coast, approximately 85 kilometres north of Sydney. The club entered the Central Coast Division Rugby League initially in the 2nd Division, building its player base and community support before advancing to grade competitions in the 1990s. According to Wikipedia's club article, the Panthers reached their first ever first-grade grand final in 2010, exactly 25 years after their inception, a milestone that galvanised the Central Coast community around the club.
Club History
After finishing runners-up in the 2010 first-grade grand final (losing 22-10), the Panthers claimed their maiden first-grade premiership in 2011 under coach Tony Gleeson, defeating Ourimbah Magpies 38-18 at Morry Breen Oval. They followed that with another premiership in 2013, edging out Erina Eagles 21-20 in one of the tightest grand finals in the competition's history. The club was minor premiers in 2014 before falling to Wyong Roos 8-6 in the decider. The Berkeley Vale women's team has been equally successful, becoming the first Central Coast club to enter a women's tackle competition in Sydney in 2014. The women claimed five premierships in 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2023, including back-to-back titles in the Newcastle A Grade competition. The club produced a number of players who went on to NRL careers, including Liam Knight (Manly, Canberra, South Sydney, Canterbury), Blake Taaffe (South Sydney, Canterbury), and Paul Stringer (North Sydney, Northern Eagles, South Sydney, Parramatta). Isabelle Kelly, a product of the Panthers women's program, became an Australian Jillaroos representative and played in the NRLW from 2015 to 2022.
Home Ground
The Berkeley Vale Panthers play their home matches at Ted Doyle Oval in Berkeley Vale. The ground has hosted both first-grade and women's matches and serves as a central hub for the club's junior and senior competitions. In 2022, the club fielded 5 senior teams and 18 junior teams from Ted Doyle Oval, with those numbers rising to 6 senior and 27 junior teams in 2023, reflecting significant growth in participation.
Community and Programs
The Berkeley Vale Panthers are known as the "family and community club" of the Central Coast district, fielding teams from Under 6s through to senior open-age competitions, including women's tackle and league tag. The JET Rugby League Academy, established in 2021, provides a high-performance training environment for boys and girls aged 10 to 18, with individual and positional coaching. The club has been a consistent trailblazer in women's rugby league on the Central Coast, pioneering women's tackle football in the region from 2014.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
