Berwick Junior Football Banners - Every Young Player Deserves a Moment

Whether it's a debut, a milestone, or a grand final entrance, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that give every Berwick junior the recognition they deserve. Make their big moment unforgettable.

Simple to Order

We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Noah Clark, #6, 50 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner holds up through a cold Melbourne winter morning in Berwick with ease.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Berwick juniors hit the same milestone, a Two Player Banner is the perfect way to celebrate them both. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake they will both treasure.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and create a run-through that gets the whole team fired up. A top-line message like "Go Berwick!" or a custom team dedication makes grand final day at Berwick one to remember for everyone involved.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that last for years. A Berwick Junior Football Club keepsake banner looks great in the clubrooms, on the bedroom wall, or in the family games room.

Grand Final Banners

Make grand final day at Berwick truly special with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice and let's create something the whole club will be proud of.

About Berwick Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Berwick Junior Football Club has deep roots in the Berwick community, sharing a long history with the Berwick Football Club at Arch Brown Reserve. The reserve was named in honour of Arch Brown, who gave 58 years of continuous service to the Berwick Football Club and was still serving as a gatekeeper in 1978. The ground's pavilion - the WJ Williamson Pavilion - was opened by Cr. Jack Kirkham in 1978 and named in recognition of Bill Williamson's 52 years of continuous service. The junior club has operated out of this historic ground for decades, giving generations of Berwick children their start in Australian rules football. The club competes in the AFL South East junior competition.

Club History

The Berwick Football Club's senior history traces to the 1950s and earlier, with the club competing in the South West Gippsland Football League (SWGFL). The senior club enjoyed significant success in the late 1970s, with Jim "Frosty" Miller kicking 202 goals in 1977 and a record 201 goals in 1978 - both seasons ending in senior premierships. Notable players from the Berwick area who went on to VFL careers include Norman Tivendale (Footscray) and the Berwick district produced players who joined AFL clubs including Michael Tuck at Hawthorn. The Berwick Junior Football Club continues this tradition of producing quality footballers for senior and state-level competition.

Home Ground

The Berwick Junior Football Club plays at Arch Brown Reserve in Berwick, the historic home ground shared with the senior Berwick Football Club. The ground features the WJ Williamson Pavilion (opened 1978) and has been the spiritual home of football in Berwick for well over half a century. The facilities have been upgraded over the years to accommodate the growing needs of the junior football program and its many participants.

Community and Programs

The Berwick Junior Football Club provides age-group competition for young players from Auskick level through to under-age competition, in affiliation with AFL South East. The club runs boys and girls programs, with a strong focus on skill development, teamwork, and community participation. The junior club serves as the pathway into the senior Berwick Football Club, ensuring a continuous pipeline of locally developed talent for the town's senior team.

Berwick

Berwick is a suburb in Melbourne's south-eastern growth corridor, located approximately 45 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Casey. Once a quiet country town, Berwick has experienced significant growth over recent decades and now forms part of one of Melbourne's fastest-growing regions. The town is known for its heritage streetscapes along High Street, its community facilities, and its strong sense of local identity. With a population of around 50,000 residents in the broader suburb, community sport plays a vital role in connecting long-term residents and newer families to the area.

The Junior Club competes in AFL South East and calls Arch Brown Reserve, Berwick, home. Visit the club website for registrations and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow on Instagram for match day updates.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
