Whether it's a landmark game, a milestone birthday, or a special recognition, FootyBanners.com makes it easy to honour your Busselton Magpies champion. Our custom banners are designed for Magpies fans who want something truly memorable.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. To get started, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Liam Fletcher, #15, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will stand up to even the most blazing WA afternoon out at Sir Stewart Bovell Park.
Two Players, One Banner
Sharing a milestone with a teammate? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate two Magpies at once on the same banner. Just supply both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone they're reaching together - perfect for a memorable run-through.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Recognise a group of players with our Team Banner option, which can feature 3 to 6 players. Your top-line message might read "Busselton Magpies - Our Champions" and your whole squad can celebrate together. A brilliant way to mark a premiership season or end-of-year awards night.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Hang them in the Magpies clubrooms, your garage, or the games room - a permanent tribute to a proud playing career.
Grand Final Banners
Take the field in style with a Grand Final banner measuring 4.5m or 5.5m, fully customised with your top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice to make sure Busselton Football Club runs through in grand style.
About Busselton Magpies Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Busselton Football Club was established in 1955 through the merger of East Busselton and West Busselton, two local clubs that had independently joined the then Bunbury-Collie Football League in 1954. The two clubs decided to merge to form a more competitive combined side, creating what became the Busselton Football and Sportsmen's Club - home of the Busselton Magpies. The club has competed exclusively in the South West Football League (SWFL) throughout its history, building a proud record at the heart of football in WA's South West region.
Club History
The Magpies have won seven SWFL premierships, with flag years of 1964, 1967, 1978, 1996, 2012, 2015, and 2023. Their most recent premiership in 2023 marked a return to the top after several strong finals campaigns. The club has produced notable alumni including AFL players Jye Amiss, who was recruited by Fremantle, and AFLW player Demi Liddle, demonstrating the club's ability to develop talent to the highest levels of the game. The Magpies continue to be a competitive presence in the SWFL, with a strong senior program backed by well-organised junior and women's divisions.
Home Ground
The Magpies are based at Sir Stewart Bovell Park Sporting Complex in Bovell, on the outskirts of Busselton. The complex serves as the headquarters for all Busselton football and netball programs, providing facilities for senior football, women's football, colts, junior boys and girls, masters football, and the Busselton Magpies Netball League. The clubrooms are a central part of the club's community function and social calendar.
Community and Programs
The Busselton Football and Sportsmen's Club fields teams across a wide range of competitions including League, Reserves, Women's, Colts, Youth Girls and Boys across multiple age groups, Masters (both men and women), and a full South West Netball Football League program. The club has grown significantly in recent years, adding dedicated girls' junior teams that reflect the rapid expansion of women's football in the South West region. The club also hosts community events, venue hire, and membership programs for the broader Busselton community.
Busselton
Busselton is a coastal city in Western Australia located approximately 218 kilometres south of Perth, around a 2.5-hour drive from the city. With a town population of around 28,000 and a local government area of over 43,000 residents, it is one of the South West's largest centres. Busselton is the gateway to the Margaret River wine region and is renowned for its 1.8-kilometre wooden jetty, family-friendly beaches, and strong lifestyle appeal.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
