When a Shark hits a major games milestone or the club gathers for a special occasion, FootyBanners.com is the home of custom banners built for the moment. Design your personalised Ocean Ridge Sharks banner today and make the celebration one nobody forgets.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For a player banner, simply provide the name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Morrison, #7, 100 Games. Also let us know if the player is in the MAKOS or the POINTERS so we can include that on the banner
All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper that holds up perfectly through a blazing WA afternoon. Your order details are confirmed before production begins.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two Sharks reaching the same milestone at the same time? The Two Player banner is the perfect choice. Both players must be celebrating the same games milestone - just provide each player's name and guernsey number and we will take it from there. A quality keepsake for two legends of the club.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Got three to six players all hitting a milestone together? The Team Banner option has you covered. Select your players, add a top-line message like "Ocean Ridge Sharks - Celebrating Our Champions" and let the banner do the talking. A great way to honour a group of dedicated club members in one impressive display.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Hang them in the clubrooms, garage, or games room and relive the Sharks memories for years to come. A lasting tribute to every player who has worn the Ocean Ridge guernsey with pride.

About Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club was established in 1980 to serve the emerging coastal suburb of Ocean Reef in Perth's northern corridor. Founded as the Sharks, the club entered the North Coastal Junior Football League (NCJFL) and quickly became a cornerstone of the local community. Over four-plus decades, the club has grown from a small neighbourhood competition into one of the largest junior football clubs in Western Australia's Metro North region, regularly fielding more than 800 registered members.

Club History

From its inception in 1980, the Ocean Ridge Sharks have competed in the North Coastal Junior Football League, progressing through divisions as the suburb grew and the club's development pathways matured. The club has been recognised with multiple state-level awards in recent years: the NAB AFL Auskick Centre of the Year in 2023 and again in 2025, the AFL WA Youth Club of the Year in 2024, and the AFL WA Administrator of the Year in 2024 - acknowledgements that reflect the high standard of the club's organisation and community engagement. Teams run from Auskick (Pre-Primary to Year 2) through to Opens (Year 12) for both boys and girls, making the club one of the most comprehensive junior programs in the region.

Home Ground

The Ocean Ridge Sharks play their home games at Ocean Reef Park, located in the suburb of Ocean Reef within the City of Joondalup. The ground has been the club's home since its early years and serves as both the Auskick centre on Saturday mornings and the venue for Sunday junior and youth competitions. Council records show the ground was the subject of a toilet and changeroom improvement project, part of ongoing investment in facilities at Percy Doyle and surrounding reserves in the Joondalup local government area.

Community and Programs

The Ocean Ridge Sharks run one of the most inclusive junior programs in Perth's north, with pathways for boys and girls from Auskick (school age Pre-Primary to Year 2) right through to Opens (Year 7 to Year 12). The club places strong emphasis on life skills - commitment, resilience, perseverance, leadership, and respect - as core values that extend well beyond the football field. Volunteer coaches and a dedicated committee, led in 2025 by President Bruce Gilly, ensure every child has a supported and enjoyable experience of the game. The Sharks also run a dedicated Girls program, fielding mixed and all-girls teams across multiple age groups.

Ocean Reef

Ocean Reef is a coastal suburb in northern Perth, located approximately 25 kilometres north of the Perth CBD within the City of Joondalup. The suburb was developed from the 1970s onwards and takes its name from a limestone reef line visible several kilometres offshore. It borders Joondalup, Edgewater, and Connolly, and is known for its proximity to the Indian Ocean coastline, the Ocean Reef Boat Harbour, and the Joondalup Health Campus. The area has a family-oriented demographic, making it a natural home for one of WA's most active junior football clubs.

The Sharks compete in the North Coastal Junior Football League (NCJFL) and call Ocean Reef Park home. Visit the Ocean Ridge Junior Football Club website for registration details, news, and fixtures, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates and club news.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
