From milestone games to end-of-season celebrations, FootyBanners.com creates stunning custom banners for every proud moment in a Pirate's footy journey. Whether it's a 50-game milestone or a grand final run, a custom Pirates banner is the perfect way to mark the occasion.
Simple to Order
Choose from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. For player banners, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Thompson, #7, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, built to survive even the most blazing WA afternoon on the boundary line.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two Pirates reaching the same milestone? Our Two Player banner is the perfect solution - both players must share the same game milestone. Include both names and guernsey numbers, and we'll produce a quality banner worthy of the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Bring the whole squad together with our Team Banner option, designed for groups of 3 to 6 players. A top-line message like "Go Pirates!" ties the banner together and makes a fantastic keepsake for any group achievement. Order yours from FootyBanners.com - where every player gets their moment in the spotlight.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that won't fade over time. Hang your Pirates banner in the clubrooms, garage, or games room and relive those great footy memories for years to come.
Grand Final Banners
Make your Grand Final entrance unforgettable with our 4.5m or 5.5m Grand Final banners, fully customised with your top and bottom text. The Piara Waters Junior Football Club run-through banner will fire up the Pirates and set the tone for a winning performance. Contact us for design advice.
About Piara Waters Junior Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Piara Waters Junior Football Club was established in 2013 by a group of local parents who wanted to provide children in the fast-growing Piara Waters and Harrisdale area with a community-based football club closer to home. The club launched its inaugural season in 2014, beginning with just 53 Auskick participants, and is affiliated with the East Fremantle District Football Development Council. Known as the Harrisdale Pirates, the club plays in the East Fremantle District Junior Football Competition.
Club History
From those 53 founding Auskick players in 2013, the Piara Waters Junior Football Club grew rapidly alongside the suburb itself - reaching over 350 registered players by 2018. In 2017, the club was recognised with the East Fremantle District Junior Football Club of the Year award, a testament to its outstanding administration, community engagement, and player development outcomes. The club has consistently fielded competitive junior and youth teams across all age groups, and its inclusive programs have attracted strong participation from both boys and girls across the region.
Home Ground
The Pirates play their junior and youth matches at Piara Waters Pavilion, while Auskick and the Starkick All Abilities program are hosted at Rossiter Pavilion on Rossiter Avenue, Piara Waters. Both grounds serve the growing Harrisdale-Piara Waters community and are supported through the City of Armadale's sport and recreation infrastructure. The club lists the WA Football Commission, the AFL, and the City of Armadale among its key affiliates and sponsors.
Community and Programs
The Piara Waters Junior Football Club runs one of the most comprehensive junior programs in Perth's southeastern corridor. Programs include Auskick (entry-level), Juniors, Youth, Girls football, and the Starkick All Abilities program - a dedicated program for children with special needs who may not be able to participate in conventional football sessions. The club's Starkick program is co-ordinated by a dedicated registrar and offers a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all participants. This breadth of programming reflects the club's deep commitment to community sport for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
Piara Waters and Harrisdale
Piara Waters is a residential suburb in Perth's southeastern growth corridor, located approximately 25 kilometres from the Perth CBD within the City of Armadale local government area. The suburb's population grew from fewer than 100 residents in 2006 to 15,029 at the 2021 Census, and was estimated at 19,384 as of June 2025 - making it one of Western Australia's fastest-growing communities. The area is characterised by young families, with the majority of residents living in separate houses in newer estates. This rapid growth has fuelled a surge in community sport participation, making local clubs like the Piara Waters Junior Football Club an essential part of the social fabric of the area.
The Pirates compete in the East Fremantle District Junior Football Competition and call Piara Waters Pavilion and Rossiter Pavilion home. Visit the club website for registration, fixtures, and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
