From a player's 100th game to a milestone season for the whole club, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that capture the moment in style. Order your personalised Hawks banner today and give the occasion the recognition it deserves.
Simple to Order
Select from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For a player milestone banner, supply the full name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Chris Mullen, #14, 200 Games. All banners use permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper that stands firm through a blazing WA afternoon. We confirm all your details before printing begins.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Hawks are celebrating the same milestone at the same time, the Two Player banner brings their achievement together in one impressive display. Both players must share the same games milestone - supply their names and guernsey numbers and we handle the rest. A quality keepsake for two standout contributors to the club.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Marking three to six players' milestones at once? The Team Banner option makes it easy to celebrate the group together. Choose your players, add a top-line message such as "Hamersley Carine Hawks - Celebrating Our Legends" and create something the whole club can be proud of. A fantastic way to honour multiple contributors in one hit.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks for lasting durability. Put them up in the Hawks clubrooms, garage, or games room and keep the memories alive long after the final siren. The perfect permanent tribute for any player who has given their all in the gold and black.

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, Hamersley Carine Amateur Football Club Grand Final banners can be fully customised with your own top and bottom text to suit the occasion. Contact us for design advice and let us help you create the perfect banner for the big day.
About Hamersley Carine Amateur Football Club
Origins and Founding
Hamersley Carine Amateur Football Club (HCAFC) was established in 1974, originally based at Aintree Reserve in the suburb of Hamersley in Perth's northern suburbs. The club entered the WA Amateur Football League (WAAFL) and competed under the Subiaco District - a connection that has defined the club's structure through its five decades of existence. In the late 1980s, HCAFC relocated to Beach Oval in Carine, where it has remained ever since, growing into one of the district's most prominent and successful clubs.
Club History
Since its foundation in 1974, the Hamersley Carine Hawks have built a record that any community club would be proud of. The club has won 15 premierships in the WA Amateur Football League and its successor competition, the Perth Football League - six of which were won by the senior league side. The Hawks claimed B-grade league premierships in 2006, 2011, and 2015, with the 2015 flag particularly memorable as the side came from fifth on the ladder to win the flag. In 2006 and again in 2015, the club was named Subiaco Football Club's Subiaco District Championship Club, recognising overall excellence across all grades in the district. A landmark year came in 2021 when the Hawks won their inaugural Women's premiership and their first-ever Colts premiership in the same season. As of 2026, the men's league side competes in C1 grade of the Perth Football League, with a stated aim to return to B grade, having finished the 2025 season with 13 wins and two finals victories under coach Troy Arnold.
Home Ground
The Hawks have called Beach Oval in Carine home since their relocation from Hamersley in the late 1980s - a ground they have occupied for more than three decades. Beach Oval serves as the venue for league, reserves, and colts matches during the Perth Football League season. The club trains at the ground every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season, with the facility also supporting the club's women's and social programs.
Community and Programs
With more than 150 active players and over 200 social members and volunteers, the Hawks are a major sporting institution in Perth's northern suburbs. The club fields men's and women's teams and has strong community partnerships with local businesses. HCAFC has a long-term vision of financial sustainability and developing local football talent, working with local youth to build skills both on and off the field. The club's 2021 expansion into women's football was a major milestone, and the program has continued to grow through the mid-2020s. A social media following of more than 1,000 across platforms reflects the club's active engagement with the broader community.
Carine
Carine is a quiet residential suburb located approximately 14 kilometres north of Perth's central business district, within the City of Stirling local government area. Situated between Marmion Avenue and the Mitchell Freeway, the suburb is bordered by Duncraig, Karrinyup, and Warwick. Known as an established family suburb with good school catchments and easy access to the coast, Carine is a fitting home for a club that prides itself on community connection and family-friendly football.
The Hawks compete in the Perth Football League (Subiaco District) and call Beach Oval in Carine home. Visit the Hamersley Carine AFC website for fixtures, news, and membership information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day photos and updates.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
