Carey Park Panthers Banners - Honour Every Panthers Milestone

From a hard-fought 50-game milestone to a grand final victory at Kelly Park, FootyBanners.com helps the Carey Park Panthers celebrate every moment that matters. Our custom footy banners are designed to capture the pride and passion of Panthers supporters right across Bunbury and the South West.

Simple to Order

Select from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final Banner depending on the occasion. For a single player banner, you'll need the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Norris, #14, 200 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, your banner will stand up to even the most blazing WA afternoon on the sidelines at Kelly Park.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Panthers reaching the same milestone on the same match day? Our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate both at once. Both players must share the same milestone, and you'll need each player's name and guernsey number to get started. A great way to make a big moment even bigger.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Bring the whole squad together with a Team Banner, featuring between 3 and 6 players in one bold design. Add a custom top-line message like "Panthers - SWFL Champions" to make it official. Whether it's a premiership or a milestone round, this is the banner that says it all.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Display them with pride in the clubrooms, your garage, or your games room - a lasting tribute to what it means to be a Carey Park Panther.

Grand Final Banners

When the Carey Park Panthers run out for the big one, make sure the banner is ready. Our Grand Final Banners are available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your chosen top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and we'll help bring your vision to life.

About Carey Park Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Carey Park Football Club, nicknamed the Panthers, has its origins in 1914 when it was formed as the Young Men's Social Club, with football and rowing as its main activities. The name soon changed to the Young Men's Pastimes Club and then the Pastimes Football Club. The club won its first premiership in 1920 and went on to win again in 1923 (undefeated), 1924, 1925, 1932, and 1938, before claiming three consecutive Sunday Times Trophy premierships in 1946, 1947, and 1948. In 1956, the club relocated its focus to the growing suburb of Carey Park, and in 1959 the members voted to adopt the name "Panthers" as the club's official nickname. The club has competed in the South West Football League (SWFL) since that era.

Club History

Since taking the name Carey Park, the Panthers have won seven SWFL premierships: 1963, 1973, 1986, 2003, 2006, 2008, and 2009. Their back-to-back flags in 2008 and 2009 were the first consecutive premierships in the club's history under the Carey Park name. The club has produced several notable footballers, including Keith Hough and Sammy Clarke, who both won the Sandover Medal (Western Australia's highest individual football honour). Jamie Bennell was drafted by Melbourne FC with pick 35 in the 2008 AFL Draft and debuted in 2009. Paul Barnard played for both Hawthorn and Essendon and was part of Essendon's 2000 AFL premiership side. Troy Ugle represented the West Coast Eagles, and Jeremy Barnard captained East Perth to three consecutive premierships.

Home Ground

The Panthers play at Kelly Park in Carey Park, which has served as the club's home ground since the club opened its first facilities there in 1971. The oval was developed entirely through voluntary effort - the club had initially been told the land could not fit a football oval, but after securing Bunbury Town Council approval, the club constructed the ground's fencing, scoreboard, and facilities. The first home fixture at Kelly Park was played against Busselton on 23 April 1978. The ground now includes change rooms, a gymnasium, and club function facilities.

Community and Programs

The Carey Park Football, Sporting and Community Club Inc runs senior men's and women's football programs through the SWFL, along with netball and other community sporting activities. The club's best and fairest award, inaugurated in 1947 by Tom Harris in honour of his two brothers who played for Pastimes, is still sponsored by the Harris family - a tradition that highlights the club's deep community roots. The club is a genuine community hub in the Carey Park area, with club rooms and facilities that serve the broader Bunbury region.

Carey Park

Carey Park is a southern suburb of Bunbury, Western Australia, located approximately 4 kilometres from the Bunbury city centre. With a population of 5,155 at the 2021 census, it is a well-established residential suburb situated within the City of Bunbury. Bunbury itself is the second largest city in Western Australia after Perth, serving as the commercial and services hub of the South West region. The Panthers are one of the most historically significant clubs in the SWFL and a cornerstone of sport in the region.

The Panthers compete in the South West Football League and call Kelly Park, Carey Park, home. More information is available at careyparkfc.com.au, on Facebook, and on Instagram.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
