Caulfield Bears Football Club Banners - Honouring Every Bears Milestone in Style
When a Caulfield Bears player reaches a big moment in their football journey, FootyBanners.com delivers the perfect custom banner to mark the occasion. We create high-quality footy banners for the Caulfield Bears Football Club that make every milestone celebration one to remember.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. For a personalised player banner, just supply the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Harris, #22, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, they hold up through a classic Melbourne winter afternoon without missing a beat.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two Bears hitting the same milestone at once? Our Two Player banner lets you recognise both players on a single, great-looking banner. We need both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone to make it happen. A fantastic option for a double celebration on game day.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner covers groups of 3 to 6 players and is perfect for celebrating a whole crew of Bears at once. You can add a custom top-line message like "Caulfield Bears - Champions of Our Community!" for that extra personal flair. Great for end-of-season nights and milestone rounds.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners use thick recyclable paper and waterproof inks for a result that looks sharp for years. Whether it goes in the clubrooms, garage, or games room, a Bears keepsake banner is a memento worth keeping.
Grand Final Banners
Grand Final banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised text for the top and bottom panels. For the Caulfield Bears Football Club, we can help you craft wording that captures the energy of the big day. Reach out to us before ordering for personalised design advice.
About Caulfield Bears Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Caulfield Bears Football Club was formed in 1993 through the merger of two long-established church clubs: St Kevins Ormond F.C. and St Andrews Gardenvale F.C., both of which had competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association (ESCFA). Their coming together coincided with the ESCFA's merger with the Southern Football League, creating the ideal moment for the two rival clubs to unite under a single banner. St Kevins Ormond had originally been founded in 1946 and held premierships across the CYMS and YCW competitions before moving to the ESCFA in 1976. St Andrews Gardenvale was also founded in 1946 and spent its entire existence at the ESCFA, playing its home games at Princes Park in Caulfield. The merged club took on the Caulfield name and the Princes Park tenancy as part of its new identity.
Club History
The Bears found immediate success upon formation, winning the reserves premiership in 1993 and then claiming both the seniors and reserves premierships in 1994 in the first division of the Southern Football League. The club competes today in Division 2 of the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL), and also has a well-established junior arm that competes in the South Metro Junior Football League. The Bears' Wikipedia entry records the club's full history, with links to the senior club's formation from the ESCFA era through to present day competition in the SFNL.
Home Ground
The Bears currently call Koornang Park in Carnegie their home ground, having returned there in 2010 to reunite the senior and junior arms of the club. The club's roots at Princes Park in Caulfield gave way to Koornang Park as the club's primary base from 2010 onwards. Carnegie is a suburb of Melbourne's inner south-east, within the City of Glen Eira, offering well-maintained oval and clubroom facilities in a popular residential precinct.
Community and Programs
Caulfield Bears operates as a genuine community football club within the Glen Eira municipality, fielding both senior and junior teams and providing a pathway for players from junior ranks into the senior club. The club's long association with its junior program - which was one of the factors that drove St Kevins' move to Koornang Park as far back as 1980 - continues to be a source of club pride. The Bears are a family-friendly club with deep roots in the Carnegie and Caulfield communities.
Carnegie and Caulfield
Carnegie is a suburb in Melbourne's inner south-east, approximately 12 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Glen Eira. The area is characterised by leafy streets, a strong cafe culture along Koornang Road, and a long tradition of community sport. Neighbouring Caulfield, which gives the club its name, is well known for Caulfield Racecourse and its role as a major Melbourne racing venue. The Glen Eira area has one of Melbourne's most active community sporting scenes.
The Bears compete in the Southern Football Netball League and call Koornang Park, Carnegie home. Visit the club website for fixtures, news, and membership details, and explore the Caulfield Bears site for more about the club's history and programs.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
