Chelsea Heights Demons Football Club Banners - Celebrate Your Demon's Greatest Day
Big milestones deserve big recognition, and FootyBanners.com is proud to create custom banners for the Chelsea Heights Demons Football Club. Whether it's a landmark game count or a special season achievement, we'll help you mark it properly.
Simple to Order
We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. For a Single Player banner, all we need is the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake White, #8, 200 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, designed to hold up on a cold Melbourne morning down by the bay.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Demons are sharing the same milestone on the same day, our Two Player banner is the perfect solution. Just send us both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone they're reaching together. A quality banner that celebrates two great players in one go.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option handles groups of 3 to 6 players and is ideal for recognising a whole group of Demons at once. Pop in a top-line message such as "Chelsea Heights Demons - Strength In Unity!" to give your banner that personal touch. Perfect for end-of-season events and milestone presentations.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A Chelsea Heights Demons keepsake banner looks great on the clubroom wall, in the garage, or in a player's games room as a lasting reminder of what they achieved.
Grand Final Banners
Our Grand Final banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with customisable top and bottom text for the Chelsea Heights Demons Football Club. We're happy to advise on wording and layout - just reach out before you order and we'll help you design a banner worthy of finals day.
About Chelsea Heights Demons Football Club
Origins and Founding
Chelsea Heights Football Netball Club was established in 1969 in the bayside suburb of Chelsea Heights, Victoria. The club - nicknamed the Demons - first played competitive football in the South West Gippsland Football League from 1973, competing in that competition until 1992. A grand final appearance in 1978, despite a 53-point loss to Berwick, highlighted the Demons' competitiveness in those early years. In 1993 the club made the significant move to the newly reformatted Southern Football League, setting the stage for a new era of success.
Club History
Chelsea Heights quickly found their footing in the Southern Football League. The Demons won the Division 3 premiership in 1995 and were promoted to Division 2, where they went on to claim another flag in 2000, earning promotion to Division 1. The club's Wikipedia page records subsequent grand final appearances in 2009, 2010, and 2012 - all in Division 1. The Demons were relegated to Division 2 in 2015 but bounced back strongly, winning premierships in both 2017 and 2022. Notable former players include ex-AFL footballers Darren Walsh, Jayden Attard, Scott Crow, Glenn Nugent, and Travis Johnstone, all of whom came through the Chelsea Heights system.
Home Ground
Chelsea Heights play their home games at Beazley Reserve in Chelsea Heights, a well-regarded community ground in Melbourne's Bayside region. The ground has been the spiritual home of the Demons throughout their history in the Southern Football League era, and the social rooms there bear the name of Neil Lockhart, a long-serving club stalwart recognised for his contributions across many years. Ben Bradley is another celebrated figure whose dedication to the club has been recognised by the community.
Community and Programs
Chelsea Heights operates as a combined football and netball club, a structure that reflects the club's deep roots in community sport across Melbourne's bayside suburbs. The club supports a strong netball program alongside senior and junior football, making it a genuine multi-sport community hub. The Demons are affiliated with the Southern Football Netball League and serve as a key sporting anchor in the Chelsea Heights and broader Kingston City community.
Chelsea Heights
Chelsea Heights is a suburb in Melbourne's City of Kingston, located approximately 35 kilometres south of the CBD on the bayside fringe of the metropolitan area. The suburb is bounded by the Frankston rail line and sits close to Port Phillip Bay, giving the area a relaxed coastal character. It is part of a broader bayside corridor that includes Chelsea, Carrum, and Patterson Lakes, and is known for its family-friendly amenity and strong sense of local community identity.
The Demons compete in the Southern Football Netball League and call Beazley Reserve home. Visit the club website for fixtures, news, and membership information, and follow the Demons on Facebook for match day updates and club news.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
