Cheltenham Panthers Banners - Celebrating Every Junior Milestone
When a young Panther hits a milestone worth remembering, FootyBanners.com is the go-to for a banner that does it justice. Our custom banners are made for the Cheltenham Panthers and designed to make every game day moment last a lifetime.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For player banners, just supply the name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Williams, #11, 50 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper that holds up through even the coldest Melbourne winter afternoon at Le Page Park.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Panthers reaching the same milestone in the same game? Our Two Player banner is the answer. Supply both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll produce a quality banner that puts them both in the spotlight together.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
For groups of 3 to 6 players all hitting a milestone at once, the Team Banner option has you covered. Add a top-line message such as "Cheltenham Panthers - Milestone Round" and every name gets the recognition they deserve. A great way to celebrate a team of achievers all at once.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Perfect for the clubrooms, garage, or games room - a Panthers keepsake banner is something every player and family will treasure for years.
Grand Final Banners
Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text to suit the occasion. Get in touch for design advice and let us help you create the perfect run-through banner for the Cheltenham Panthers Football Club's biggest day of the season.
About Cheltenham Panthers Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Cheltenham Junior Football Club (CJFC) - known as the Cheltenham Panthers - was established in 1990 through a merger of two local junior clubs, St Francis and Assumption. The merger united the talent and resources of both organisations to create one of Melbourne's south-east premier junior football programs. From the outset, the club was committed to providing quality football pathways for children across the Cheltenham area, entering competition in the South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL).
Club History
In the three decades since its formation, the Panthers have amassed an impressive premiership record in the SMJFL. The club's flag tally includes titles in 1991, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2024 - spanning boys and girls age groups across multiple divisions. The 2024 season delivered three flags: Under-13 Boys Division 4, Under-15 Boys Division 4, and Under-16 Boys Division 4. The club has maintained a long-running partnership with the St Kilda Football Club, supporting player development pathways for junior players aspiring to progress to elite levels.
Home Ground
The Panthers call Le Page Park home, situated at the corner of Herald Street and Argus Street in Cheltenham, VIC 3192. The ground serves as the central hub for all football activity, including training sessions, game days, and community events. The Cheltenham Panthers Netball Club has also been operating at Le Page Park since 1982, making the precinct a well-established multi-sport community venue for the area.
Community and Programs
The CJFC runs an Auskick program to introduce young children to Australian Rules football, alongside junior boys and girls teams across all age groups. A dedicated Girls Football Coordinator oversees the growing female participation program, reflecting the SMJFL's broader push to expand women's and girls' football. The club also runs a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator role, prioritising player welfare alongside on-field performance. Regular social and fundraising events help build the family-friendly culture the Panthers are known for throughout the Cheltenham community.
Cheltenham
Cheltenham is a suburb located 18 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's CBD, spread across the Cities of Bayside and Kingston local government areas. With a population of 23,992 at the 2021 census, the area is well-serviced by the Frankston railway line and is home to the major shopping precinct of Westfield Southland. The suburb has a strong sporting culture, with multiple golf courses, cricket clubs, and football clubs contributing to local community life.
The Panthers compete in the South Metro Junior Football League and call Le Page Park, Cheltenham, home. Visit the club website for more information, or follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
