Simple to Order
Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner - then provide the player details you need: name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Thomson, #7, 100 Games. All banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, ready to withstand a blazing Riverland afternoon on the Paringa Sporting Complex sideline.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Swans hit the same milestone in the same round, our Two Player Banner is the perfect way to honour them both. Just provide both players names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone and we will take care of the rest.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrating 3 to 6 players in one go? Our Team Banner option is made for those milestone-packed rounds. Your top-line could read something like "Swans Milestone Round - Honouring Our Own" - finish it with your closing tagline and let the banner speak for the occasion.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for displaying in the Swans clubrooms, a home garage, or the games room as a lasting memento of a special Paringa Swans moment.
Grand Final Banners
Our Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m lengths, with fully customised top and bottom text for the Paringa Swans Football Club. Contact us for design advice and we will help you create a run-through banner worthy of a grand final stage.
About Paringa Swans Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Paringa Football Netball Club was founded in 1960 in the town of Paringa in South Australia's Riverland region. The Swans, as the club is known, entered local competition and quickly became a cornerstone of sporting life in the Paringa community. Located at 284 Sturt Highway, the Paringa Sporting Complex has been the club's home for decades, serving as a central gathering point for the town.
Club History
The Paringa Swans have accumulated an impressive list of premierships since their founding. According to the club's official Facebook page, the Swans have claimed A Grade flags in 1979, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2013 and 2018 - a record of sustained excellence across six decades of competition. The club competed in the Riverland Independent Football League (RIFL), which was one of six founding teams of that competition when it was established in 1972. In 2022 the RIFL merged with the Riverland Independent Netball Association to form the Murray Valley Football Netball League (MVFNL), and Paringa carried their proud history into the new competition. The MVFNL now fields seven clubs across the Riverland and Mallee regions, with Paringa among the most decorated sides in the league's history.
Home Ground
Paringa Sporting Complex on the Sturt Highway is the club's permanent home, a facility that serves both the football and netball programs. The Sturt Highway runs directly through Paringa, connecting the town to Renmark, 4 kilometres upstream on the Murray River. The complex is a shared community hub, hosting training sessions, home games and social functions for a club that plays a central role in Paringa's calendar year-round.
Community and Programs
The Paringa Football Netball Club operates both football and netball programs, with the netball arm competing in the MVFNL alongside the football side. In 2024, the club was confirmed as part of the SANFL Community Football network, reinforcing its connection to the broader South Australian football structure. The club provides an important social outlet for the Paringa community, which relies on its sporting clubs to bring residents together across the seasons.
Paringa
Paringa is a small town in the Riverland of South Australia, situated approximately 17 kilometres from the border with Victoria and about 4 kilometres downstream from the regional hub of Renmark. With a population of 1,026 recorded at the 2021 Census, Paringa is known for its iconic six-span bridge crossing the River Murray - a heritage-listed structure that opened in January 1927 and once carried a single railway line alongside road traffic. The town is surrounded by vineyards, almond orchards and citrus and stone fruit properties, and sits within the Renmark Paringa Council area, which was formed when the District Council of Paringa amalgamated with Renmark Council in July 1996.
The Swans compete in the Murray Valley Football Netball League (MVFNL) and call Paringa Sporting Complex, Paringa home. Follow the Swans on Facebook for fixtures, results and club news, and follow them on Instagram for photos and match day updates.

-

-
This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.
-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
