Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. To personalise your banner, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Pascoe, #5, 50 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up through any crisp SA winter matchday at Victor Harbor.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two Roos hitting their milestone in the same game? Our Two Player banner puts both players in the spotlight on a single banner. Simply provide each player's name, guernsey number, and milestone for a memorable double celebration.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option lets you feature 3 to 6 players in one banner. Imagine running through a banner reading "Victor Harbour Roos - Our Champions" - it's the perfect touch for your next end-of-season function or premiership celebration.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners use thick recyclable paper and waterproof inks that stand up over the years. Hang them in the Roos clubrooms, at home, or in the garage as a permanent tribute to your favourite player's career.

About Victor Harbor Football Club - The Roos
Origins and Founding
The Victor Harbor Football Club was founded in 1885, making it one of South Australia's oldest football clubs. The club was one of five founding members of the Great Southern Football Association (GSFA) when the competition was established in 1923, alongside Encounter Bay, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Valley, and Port Elliot. The Roos won the inaugural 1923 grand final with a comprehensive 9.11 (65) to 2.4 (16) victory over Port Elliot, setting the tone for over a century of competitive football on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Club History
Victor Harbor has accumulated 25 senior premierships across the GSFA and Great Southern Football League (GSFL) eras. The club dominated the 1920s with four flags, then claimed back-to-back premierships in 1930 and 1934. The greatest era in club history came after World War II, when the Roos won six consecutive flags from 1946 to 1952. Further GSFL premierships followed in 1955, 1957, 1972, and then a remarkable six-consecutive-flag run from 1990 to 1995, with additional flags in 1997 and 1999. In September 2025, Victor Harbor ended a 26-year premiership drought by defeating McLaren Districts to claim the 2025 GSFL A-Grade title, as reported by the GSFL.
Home Ground
The Roos play their home games at Victor Harbor Oval, which sits within the coastal town of Victor Harbor and also hosts the club's rooms and facilities. The oval is a well-established country football ground that has served as the home of the Victor Harbor Football Club for generations. The ground is shared across the GSFL season with various home and away fixtures, and is a focal point of the local sporting community.
Community and Programs
Victor Harbor FC fields senior and junior teams in the GSFL competition each season, providing a development pathway for young players in the Fleurieu Peninsula region. The club runs both A-Grade and reserve competitions as well as junior grades, contributing to the health and vitality of football on the peninsula. The club's long history makes it a cornerstone institution in the Victor Harbor community, with generations of local families connected through the game.
Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor is a coastal city on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, located approximately 80 kilometres south of Adelaide. The City of Victor Harbor has a permanent population of around 15,500 residents, which swells to more than 30,000 during summer, reflecting its status as a popular holiday destination. The area is known for its beaches, whale watching, horse-drawn tram, and as a popular retirement destination, with over 40 percent of residents aged 65 or older as of the 2016 census.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
