Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. Simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Norris, #18, 50 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will stand up through every crisp South Australian day across the Coorong region.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Cats reaching a milestone in the same game? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both players together on one banner. Supply each player's name, guernsey number, and milestone for a memorable tribute the whole club will enjoy.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Recognise 3 to 6 players at once with our Team Banner option. A banner reading "Coorong Cats - Our Champions" is a fantastic centrepiece for your end-of-year presentation night or premiership celebration. A great way to honour your squad's collective achievements.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are crafted on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last for years. Hang them in the Cats clubrooms, a garage, or the games room - a lasting reminder of proud moments on the field.
Grand Final Banners

About Coorong Cats Football Netball Club
Origins and Founding
The Coorong Cats Football Netball Club was formed in 2023 through the merger of the Meningie Bears and the Border Downs-Tintinara (BDT) Crows. The amalgamation was driven by the need to ensure the long-term sustainability of regional football across the Coorong district, bringing together the communities of Meningie, Coonalpyn, and Tintinara under a single club. Meningie's football history extends back to before 1898, making it one of the oldest clubs in the River Murray Football League, and that heritage now forms the foundation of the Coorong Cats.
Club History
Despite only entering competition in 2023, the Coorong Cats made an immediate impact in the River Murray Football League (RMFL). Under playing coach Daniel Menzel - a former AFL player with Geelong and GWS - the Cats completed an undefeated 2024 season to win the RMFL premiership, as reported by both the SANFL and Adelaide Now. The club backed up in 2025, winning back-to-back RMFL premierships and extending their unbeaten run into the new season. The Coorong Cats are already one of the most dominant sides in SA country football history given the length and consistency of their winning run.
Home Ground
As a club drawing from three townships, the Coorong Cats play home games at grounds in Meningie, Coonalpyn, and Tintinara, with matches rotated across the district throughout the season. This arrangement reflects the club's identity as a genuinely regional outfit that serves the broader Coorong community rather than any single town. The club also competes in the RMFL netball association, making it a combined football and netball club.
Community and Programs
The Coorong Cats field teams in both football and netball competitions each season, giving players across the Coorong district a pathway from junior football through to senior level. The merger that created the club was designed specifically to pool the talent and volunteer resources of three communities, ensuring that country football remains viable and vibrant in the region for future generations.
The Coorong Region
The Coorong district of South Australia spans the region southeast of Adelaide, centred on the Murraylands. Meningie, the largest of the three club towns, recorded a population of 860 at the 2021 census and sits on the shores of Lake Albert near the famous Coorong National Park. The broader Coorong District Council area has approximately 5,600 residents and is known for its agricultural activity, the Coorong wetlands, and its significant environmental and cultural heritage.
The Cats compete in the RMFL and play home games across Meningie, Coonalpyn, and Tintinara.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
