Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Sarah Jones, #7, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent, weatherproof inks on heavy-duty coated paper, so they hold up whether it's a crisp Melbourne morning or a bitter winter afternoon at Cheltenham Recreation Reserve.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating the same milestone with a teammate? Our Two Player banner lets you honour both players on a single, high-quality banner. Just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone - both players must be celebrating the same game achievement.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Got 3 to 6 players all hitting a milestone at the same time? Go with our Team Banner option. Picture a banner reading "ROSELLAS - CONGRATULATIONS MILESTONE CLUB" with your players listed across the top. A brilliant way to celebrate a big day for the whole squad.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks, making them perfect for hanging in the clubrooms, garage, or games room. A lasting tribute for any proud Rosella supporter.

About Cheltenham Rosellas
Origins and Founding
The Cheltenham Football Club began playing on a regular basis in 1890, making it one of the oldest continuously operating Australian rules football clubs in Victoria's bayside suburbs. The earliest home games were played on a paddock at the corner of Park and Charman Roads in Cheltenham. In 1907 the Cheltenham Progress Committee successfully applied to the Board of Land Works for recreational land in Weatherall Road - the site that was cleared by volunteers from virgin bush and developed into what is now Cheltenham Recreation Reserve, the club's home for over a century. The club's roots stretch across multiple early competitions; they played under the Federal Football Association until 1981 before joining the South East Suburban Football League in 1982, eventually moving into the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL).
Club History
The Rosellas have claimed 12 senior premierships across their history - 1909, 1911, 1913, 1922, 1925, 1934, 1992, 1993, 1995, 2023, 2024, and 2025. That 2023 triumph ended a 28-year drought in the seniors, and the club then backed it up with back-to-back-to-back flags in 2023, 2024, and 2025 - an extraordinary period of sustained excellence. The 2019 season was another landmark, with the Rosellas storming to the SFNL Grand Final only to fall to Dingley by 12 points on a windswept day at Moorabbin. The club has a proud tradition of producing AFL talent: St Kilda champion Trevor Barker came through the Rosellas, as did Western Bulldogs legend Chris "Box" Box - the only Bulldogs player to win a VFL/AFL Premiership, Brownlow Medal, and Club Best and Fairest. Most recently, Josh Lai joined Port Adelaide's AFL list in 2024 after impressing in the SFNL.
Home Ground
Cheltenham Recreation Reserve on Weatherall Road has been the Rosellas' home for well over 100 years, dating back to the land grant secured in 1907. The Reserve is a shared community facility also home to the Cheltenham Cricket Club, which was established in 1872 - making both clubs among the oldest sporting organisations on Melbourne's bayside. The ground sits in the heart of the suburb, close to public transport and the local shopping strip, making it a natural gathering point for the Cheltenham community on match days.
Community and Programs
The Cheltenham Football Netball Club runs thriving junior football and netball programs, providing pathways from grassroots participation through to senior competition. The netball arm has mirrored the football team's recent success, winning multiple SFNL premierships including five flags in the 2023 season alone across various grades, and back-to-back A1 netball premierships in 2023 and 2024. The club's family-friendly culture and commitment to inclusion across all ages and backgrounds make it a genuine anchor of community life in Cheltenham.
Cheltenham
Cheltenham is a suburb in Melbourne's south-east, located approximately 18 kilometres from the CBD. With a population of around 23,992 at the 2021 census, it is the largest suburb in the City of Kingston local government area and also spans into the City of Bayside. The suburb was established in 1852 and is well known for its mix of established residential streets, the Southland retail precinct, and easy access to the Frankston rail line. It is bordered by suburbs including Moorabbin, Highett, and Mentone - all of which are traditional footballing rivals of the Rosellas.
The Rosellas compete in the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL) and call Cheltenham Recreation Reserve home. Visit the club website for news, fixtures, and membership details, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates and club news.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
