Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Just supply the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Walsh, #18, 150 Games. Panthers banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, made to withstand the bitter Melbourne winter at Kimberley Reserve.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Panthers players share the same milestone game, our Two Player banner lets you honour them both together. Supply each player's name, guernsey number, and the milestone they're reaching for a quality keepsake they'll both treasure.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrate a group of 3 to 6 players with our Team Banner option. A top-line message like "Chirnside Park Panthers - Premiers" captures the moment beautifully, and the result is a banner the whole club will be proud to display. Go the Panthers!

About Chirnside Park Panthers
Origins and Founding
The Chirnside Park Football Club - known as the Panthers - was formed in 1978 by Tommy Hardstaff, who recognised the need for a new football club in the growing community of Chirnside Park in Melbourne's outer east. The club initially played in Melbourne jumpers with two junior teams in the Eastern Football League (EFL), originally connected to the Chirnside Park Country Club. In 1979, a club name competition produced the "Panthers" identity, along with a change to orange and black. The club's full history is detailed at the Chirnside Park FC website.
Club History
In 1984, the Panthers relocated to their current facility on Kimberley Drive, with the original rooms completed in 1985. After fielding only junior teams for over a decade, the club committed to an Under-18 side in the VAFA in 1990 and launched their inaugural Men's Senior Team in 1991. The year 2000 marked a major transition when the Panthers joined the EFL as a senior club with new colours - black, gold and white. The first Senior Club Premiership came in 2009, the same year youth girls football was introduced as the "Pink Panthers". In 2019, the Senior Women's side won the Premier Division Premiership in the EFL. Rooms redevelopment began in 2021 to accommodate the club's ongoing growth.
Home Ground
The Panthers are based at Kimberley Reserve, located on Kimberley Drive in Chirnside Park. The club moved to this facility in 1984 and has developed it progressively since, with the original rooms completed in 1985 and a major redevelopment underway from 2021. Kimberley Reserve serves all areas of the club, including Auskick, junior boys and girls, senior men and women, and Masters men and women, making it a genuine multi-purpose community sporting hub in the Yarra Ranges.
Community and Programs
As of 2022, the Chirnside Park Football Club runs programs across every level of the game: Auskick, Junior Boys and Girls teams, Senior Men and Women, and Masters Men and Women. The women's program has been particularly successful, with the Senior Women's side claiming the Premier Division Premiership in 2019 - a landmark achievement for the club. The Panthers compete in the Eastern Football Netball League and are committed to building an inclusive and respected football community in the Yarra Ranges region.
Chirnside Park
Chirnside Park is a suburb in Melbourne's outer east, located 38 kilometres from the CBD within the Shire of Yarra Ranges. According to the Chirnside Park Wikipedia article, the suburb recorded a population of 11,779 at the 2021 census. It sits 4 kilometres north-west of Lilydale and borders Wonga Park, Coldstream and Mooroolbark. The suburb is part of the Yarra Valley corridor, a popular area known for its wineries, nature reserves and rural character on Melbourne's fringe. The club was established during a period of significant residential growth in Chirnside Park during the late 1970s, reflecting the broader population expansion of Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
The Panthers compete in the Eastern Football Netball League and call Kimberley Reserve, Chirnside Park home. Visit the club website, follow on Facebook or Instagram for news, results and membership information.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
