Cove Cobras Banners - Celebrating Every Strike for Hallett Cove's Own

FootyBanners.com is proud to help the Cove Cobras Football Club celebrate the milestones that matter. Whether it's a player's 50th game or their 150th, our custom banners are built to mark every great moment in Cobras history.

Simple to Order

Select from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. Provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Ryan Deluca, #19, 100 Games. Permanent inks and heavy-duty weatherproof paper mean your banner handles everything a South Australian afternoon can deliver, without fading or fraying.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Cobras reaching the same milestone in the same game? Our Two Player banner puts them both together on one quality keepsake. Just provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll do the rest.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate three to six players together with our Team Banner option - perfect for a milestone round or club awards night. Add a top-line message like "Cove Cobras - Proud of Our Own" and a rallying tagline that brings the whole club together.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant addition to the Cobras' clubrooms, a player's garage, or a supporter's games room - wherever Cove pride is displayed.

Grand Final Banners

For the Cove Cobras' biggest game of the season, our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text. Reach out for design guidance and let's make sure the Cobras run through something truly memorable.

About Cove Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Cove Football Club, nicknamed the Cobras, was formed in 1983 by a group of locals to serve the communities of Hallett Cove, Sheidow Park, and Trott Park. The club entered the Southern Football League (SFL) in 1984. In the early years the club had no secure home ground and played as an "away" team at all venues, with players training at Morphett Vale. By early 1986, Hallett Cove Oval was completed and the Cobras finally had a home ground to call their own.

Club History

Cove played in the SFL Division 2 competition from 1984 to 2001 before joining the combined Division 1 in 2002. The club has claimed two A-Grade/Division 1 premierships: in 1998 (Division 2) and 2008 (Division 1). In 2013, founding club president Chris Galley was inducted into the Southern Football League Hall of Fame - a recognition of the foundational work he did in establishing the Cobras from scratch. The club has continued to build across both senior and junior grades throughout its history.

Home Ground

The Cobras play at Hallett Cove Oval in Hallett Cove. The ground was completed in 1986 and has been the club's home ever since. Hallett Cove Oval is a community facility positioned on the southern coastal fringe of Adelaide, serving residents of Hallett Cove, Sheidow Park, and Trott Park.

Community and Programs

Cove FC fields senior men's and junior teams in the Southern Football League. The club continues to be a central part of community life in the Hallett Cove area, providing football opportunities for local youth and maintaining an active senior program. The club song is "Cheers the Boys From Cove."

Hallett Cove

Hallett Cove is a coastal suburb of Adelaide located in the City of Marion, approximately 21 kilometres south of the Adelaide city centre. The suburb recorded a population of 12,512 at the 2021 Census and covers 10.1 square kilometres. Adjoining suburbs include Marino to the north, Trott Park and Sheidow Park to the east, and Lonsdale to the south. The suburb is known for its clifftop coastal walking trails and the Hallett Cove Conservation Park, which preserves glacial rock formations dating back 280 million years.

The Cobras compete in the Southern Football League and call Hallett Cove Oval home. Follow them on Facebook or find them on Instagram.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
