Cranbourne Eagles Banners - More Than a Century of Community Pride

Established in 1889, the Cranbourne Eagles have been a cornerstone of community sport in Melbourne's south-east. FootyBanners.com helps you celebrate every player milestone with a custom banner built just for the Eagles faithful.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jackson Turner, #3, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to hold up through a brisk Melbourne winter at Casey Fields.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Eagles reach milestones in the same game, our Two Player Banner puts both achievements on one quality banner. Provide each player's name and guernsey number and we'll take care of the rest.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

The Team Banner option features 3 to 6 players, making it perfect for end-of-season nights and squad presentations. A top-line message like "Cranbourne Eagles - Soaring Since 1889" tells the whole story. A brilliant way to celebrate the group together.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A lasting tribute to display in the Eagles clubrooms or a supporter's home for years to come.

About Cranbourne Eagles

Origins and Founding

The Cranbourne Football and Netball Club, known as the Eagles, was established on 10 May 1889, making it one of the oldest football clubs in Melbourne's south-east. The club was a founding member of the Berwick District Football Association in 1910 and has competed through multiple league configurations over its 135-year history, now competing in the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL).

Club History

The Cranbourne Eagles have won premierships across multiple competitions and eras. After winning the Berwick District FA title in 1926, the club joined the South West Gippsland Football League in 1953 and won the SWGFL flag in 1966. The 1980s represented the Eagles' greatest sustained period of success, with seven premierships between 1985 and 1993. Following the SWGFL's absorption into the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League in 1995, Cranbourne won the Northern Division premiership that year. The Casey Cardinia division became the club's next home, where they reached four consecutive grand finals from 2011 to 2014, winning in 2011. The club's women's program won the Victorian Women's Football League title in 2015. When the South East Football Netball League was formed in 2015, the Eagles claimed the 2016 SEFNL premiership. The club subsequently competed in the Outer East Football Netball League (2019-2021) before transitioning to the SFNL in 2022.

Home Ground

The Eagles play at Livingston Reserve in Cranbourne. The ground has served the club through multiple competition eras and is a well-established community sporting facility in Melbourne's south-east. It hosts senior football, reserves, and netball programs and provides training facilities for the club's junior program.

Community and Programs

The Cranbourne Football and Netball Club runs programs across senior men's and women's football, netball, and a large junior section. The club is deeply embedded in the Cranbourne community and has grown alongside the rapid population expansion of Melbourne's south-east growth corridor. Youth development and community participation are central pillars of the club's mission, with strong links to local schools and the broader Casey area.

Cranbourne

Cranbourne is a major suburb and town in Melbourne's south-east, located approximately 45 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Casey. With a population of around 37,000 residents in the main suburb and significantly larger numbers across the Cranbourne East, North, and South precincts, the Cranbourne area is one of Victoria's fastest-growing communities. The area is known for the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens (a branch of the Royal Botanic Gardens), its strong horse racing heritage via Cranbourne Racing, and as a key hub for families moving into Melbourne's south-eastern growth corridor.

The Eagles compete in the Southern Football Netball League and call Livingston Reserve home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
