Diamond Creek Demons Banners - Raise the Banner for the Demons

Big milestones deserve big moments, and FootyBanners.com is here to help Diamond Creek Demons players run out in style. Our custom banners are crafted to celebrate each and every achievement with real pride.

Simple to Order

We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your banner, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Richards, #17, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is made to withstand a cold Melbourne winter morning in Diamond Creek without any trouble.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Demons mark the same milestone, a Two Player Banner is the perfect way to celebrate them both. Simply supply both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake that honours them side by side.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and turn the run-through into a moment the whole club will talk about. A top-line message like "Go Demons!" captures the spirit of the team and sends them out fired up for the contest.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last for years. A Demons keepsake banner is a fantastic addition to the clubrooms, the garage, or the family games room.

Grand Final Banners

Make grand final day unforgettable with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text for the Diamond Creek Demons Football Club. Contact us and we'll help you design something the whole community will be proud of.

About Diamond Creek Football Netball Club

Origins and Founding

The Diamond Creek Football Club - known as the Demons or the Creekers - is one of Victoria's oldest community football clubs, formed in 1904. The club was an original member of the Whittlesea District Football Association and then moved to the Bourke-Evelyn Football League in 1906, immediately winning back-to-back premierships in 1906 and 1908. After the disruption of World War I, Diamond Creek joined the Heidelberg District Football League before becoming a founding member of the Diamond Valley Football League (DVFL) in 1922, alongside Eltham, Greensborough, Kangaroo Ground, Templestowe, and Warrandyte. That foundation membership connects the club to the very origins of Diamond Valley football. The club now competes in Division 1 of the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL).

Club History

Diamond Creek Football Club has a long and distinguished history in the Diamond Valley competition, spanning more than 120 years. The club has produced some of the most celebrated figures in VFL/AFL history, including Gordon Coventry - one of Collingwood's all-time champion full forwards - and his brother Syd Coventry, the Collingwood captain who won the Brownlow Medal and multiple VFL premierships. The club's home ground, Coventry Oval, is named in honour of this famous footballing family. More recently, Rhyce Shaw (who played for Collingwood and Sydney and later coached North Melbourne) and his brother Heath Shaw (Collingwood and Greater Western Sydney) both came through Diamond Creek, as did Jack Anthony (Collingwood and Fremantle).

Home Ground

The Demons play their home matches at Coventry Oval in Diamond Creek, a ground named in honour of Gordon and Syd Coventry, the club's most famous alumni. The oval is the community sporting hub for Diamond Creek, hosting football and netball throughout the season. The club also fields a Super Rules team for players over 35 alongside its senior and junior programs.

Community and Programs

Diamond Creek FNC fields three senior football grades and eight junior teams, as well as a netball program competing in the NFNL Netball competition. A women's football program was established in 2002, with the Diamond Creek Women's Football Club later becoming an independent affiliated body in 2009 and now playing out of Plenty Memorial Park. The broader Diamond Creek football community - junior, senior, women's, and netball - is one of the most active in the Nillumbik region.

Diamond Creek

Diamond Creek is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, located approximately 23 kilometres north-east of the Central Business District within the Shire of Nillumbik local government area. The suburb recorded a population of 12,503 at the 2021 census. The area takes its name from local creeks and is part of Melbourne's picturesque green wedge north-east, known for its semi-rural character and proximity to the Nillumbik national parks.

The Demons compete in the Northern Football Netball League and call Coventry Oval in Diamond Creek home. Visit the club website for more information, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
