Dingley Dingoes Junior Banners - Junior Footy, Done Proud in Melbourne's South

Whether it's a player's first milestone game or an end-of-season celebration, FootyBanners.com creates fully custom Dingoes banners that make every junior Dingley moment feel like the real deal.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Oliver Banks, #6, 50 Games). Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper built for a cold Melbourne afternoon at the ground.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Dingoes players share a milestone in the same match, our Two Player banner celebrates them both at once. Provide both players' details and we'll create a design that honours them both.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a group of 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option covers the whole squad in one design. Set a top-line message like "Go Dingoes!" and give your junior players a run-through they won't forget.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant keepsake for the Dingoes clubrooms or a home display to remember a great junior career.

About Dingley Dingoes Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Dingley Dingoes Junior Football Club is the junior arm of the broader Dingley football community, based in Dingley Village in Melbourne's southern suburbs. The senior Dingley Football Netball Club was founded in 1958 and has been the foundation of local Australian rules football in the area for more than 65 years. The junior club provides the pathway for young players in Dingley Village and the surrounding Kingston area, feeding talent into the senior program and giving boys and girls their introduction to community football. The Dingoes compete in the South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL), which is the primary junior competition serving Melbourne's southern and south-eastern suburbs.

Club History

The senior Dingley club traces its origins to 1958 when it entered the Caulfield-Oakleigh Football League. The club moved through several competitions over the following decades, spending time in the South East Suburban FL and the South West Gippsland Football League before joining the Southern Football League in 2007, where it won Division 2 in 2008. As documented by Wikipedia's Dingley Football Club article, the senior club's most successful era came between 2015 and 2019, when the Dingoes claimed three consecutive Division 1 Senior premierships in 2015, 2016, and 2017, before adding a further flag in 2019. The club also introduced netball in 2012, officially renaming itself the Dingley Football Netball Club at its 2015 AGM. The junior club's program mirrors this community-wide commitment to football development, producing players who have gone on to represent the club at senior level in the Southern Football Netball League.

Home Ground

The Dingley Dingoes play their matches from the club's facility at Marcus Road, Dingley Village. The ground serves as the home base for both the senior and junior programs, providing shared facilities for football and netball training and match days throughout the season. The club is situated within the City of Kingston local government area, which has actively supported community sporting infrastructure across Dingley Village and neighbouring suburbs.

Community and Programs

The Dingley Dingoes Junior Football Club fields teams across all junior age groups, from the earliest age groups through to Under 18s, competing in the South Metro Junior Football League. The junior program is a central part of the Dingley community's sporting fabric, giving young residents of Dingley Village and surroundings their first experience of club football. The Dingoes junior community links closely with the Auskick entry-level program, which introduces children to Australian rules football from five years of age. The broader Dingley Football Netball Club also fields women's netball teams from the same facilities, creating a genuinely multi-sport family club.

Dingley Village

Dingley Village is a suburb of Melbourne located approximately 23 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, within the City of Kingston local government area. The suburb recorded a population of 10,495 at the 2021 census, reflecting steady growth in Melbourne's southern corridor. Previously simply called Dingley, the suburb was renamed Dingley Village in 1991. It is bordered by Clarinda to the north, Clayton South and Springvale to the east, and Mordialloc to the south, and is serviced by the Dingley Bypass. The suburb falls within the federal division of Isaacs and the state electorate of Clarinda.

The Dingoes Junior compete in the South Metro Junior Football League and are based in Dingley Village. Visit the club website for more information, follow the club on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
