Dungog Warriors Banners - Celebrate Every Warriors Milestone
From debut games to long-serving club champions, FootyBanners.com makes it simple to honour every milestone in the Dungog Warriors' proud history. Whether it's a standout season in the Hunter Valley or a big finals push, our custom footy banners capture the moment in style.
Simple to Order
Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final Banner to suit the occasion. For single player milestones, you'll need the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and achievement - for example, Matt Kelly, #11, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to handle any crisp Hunter Valley afternoon on the sideline.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Warriors hitting the same milestone on the same match day? Our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate both at once. Both players must share the same milestone, and you'll need each player's name and guernsey number. The perfect way to mark a great day for the whole club.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Rally the Warriors with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Add a powerful top-line message like "Warriors - Dungog Premiers" and make the season unforgettable. Whether it's a finals campaign or a milestone round, this banner will be the talk of the ground.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang them in the clubrooms at Dungog, your garage, or your games room - a permanent reminder of life as a Dungog Warrior.
Grand Final Banners
When the Dungog Warriors make it to the big dance, the moment deserves a banner to match. Our Grand Final Banners are available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and we'll make sure it's everything the Warriors deserve.
About Dungog Warriors Rugby League Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Dungog Warriors Rugby League Football Club is a community rugby league club based in Dungog, a historic town in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. The club serves as one of the oldest and most established sporting organisations in the Dungog Shire, representing the town in regional rugby league competition. The Warriors have long been a cornerstone of sporting life in this small but proud rural community, producing players who have gone on to compete at representative and elite levels, including those connected with the Newcastle Knights from the club's earliest days.
Club History
The Dungog Warriors have competed in Hunter Valley and Hunter regional rugby league competitions for many decades, maintaining a presence in both junior and senior grades. The club's most celebrated connection to elite football is its association with Tony Townsend, a foundation Newcastle Knights player who was remembered as both a Dungog Warrior and a local policeman. The club has also sent players to higher levels through the State representative pathway, including players who have featured in Hunter Valley Origin football. The junior program has been particularly significant, with the Warriors producing premiership-winning junior teams across multiple age groups over the years.
Home Ground
The Warriors play their home games at Squire Park in Dungog, a community oval that serves as the hub for both junior and senior rugby league in the town. The ground is a well-used facility in the centre of Dungog, with the rugby league club sharing the precinct with other sporting organisations that serve the broader Dungog Shire community. The ground has hosted decades of regional rugby league competition across all age groups.
Community and Programs
The Dungog Warriors Rugby League Football Club fields junior teams across a wide range of age groups in the Hunter Valley Junior Rugby League competition, as well as senior and reserve grade teams in the Hunter Valley competition. The club is volunteer-driven and plays a vital role in the social fabric of the small community, bringing families together each weekend through the winter season. The club maintains an active Facebook community that keeps supporters and members informed throughout the season.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
