Whether it's a milestone run-through or a grand final entrance, FootyBanners.com delivers custom banners worthy of the Eaglehawk Football Netball Club. Celebrate your champion with a banner that captures the moment.
Simple to Order
We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Chris Morgan, #22, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is built to handle a cold Central Victorian winter morning without losing a drop of quality.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Eaglehawk players hitting the same milestone calls for a Two Player Banner - the perfect way to celebrate them both on one quality keepsake. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone and we'll do the rest.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and create a run-through the whole club will be talking about. A top-line message like "Up the Hawks!" captures the passion and pride that Eaglehawk brings to every game in the Bendigo FNL.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stand the test of time. An Eaglehawk keepsake banner looks fantastic in the clubrooms, the garage, or the family games room.
Grand Final Banners
Make the Eaglehawk grand final entrance one to remember with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us and our team will help you design something the whole Eaglehawk community will be proud of.
About Eaglehawk
Origins and Founding
The Eaglehawk Football Club was formed in 1880 in the gold-mining town of Eaglehawk in central Victoria, recruiting most of its early players from the gold mines in and around the town. Canterbury Park - crown land originally set aside by the Eaglehawk Borough Council for sport and recreation - was levelled for cricket in 1872 and has been the home of the Hawks ever since the club was established. The club competes in the Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) under the motto "Win with Honour".
Club History
Eaglehawk is one of the most decorated clubs in the history of the BFNL, having won 27 senior premierships across their history. Championship years include 1882, 1883, 1894-1898, 1900, 1901, 1903, 1906, 1908, 1922, 1924, 1935, 1941, 1946, 1953, 1957, 1968, 1971, 1980, 1982, 2007, 2008, 2018, and most recently in 2025, when the Hawks finished second in the home-and-away season before claiming the premiership. The club has also been a finalist on 26 occasions. Among notable alumni, former player John Scaddan went on to become the Premier of Western Australia in 1911, while Sam Irwin-Hill pursued a career in the NFL as a punter with the Dallas Cowboys and other clubs.
Home Ground
The Hawks play at Canterbury Park Oval in Eaglehawk, a ground with a capacity of approximately 8,000 spectators. Canterbury Park has been the club's home since its foundation in 1880 and is one of the historic ovals in the Bendigo region. The ground is located on Napier Street adjacent to Lake Neangar and was also used for greyhound racing from 1936 until 1978 before returning to its primary role as a football and netball venue.
Community and Programs
The Eaglehawk Football Netball Club operates senior men's, women's, and netball programs, with the women's football side joining the club as part of the broader expansion of women's football in the BFNL. The club hosts an active juniors program and is a major community institution in the Eaglehawk area, with its clubrooms regularly used for community events, sponsor launches, and preseason activities throughout the year.
Eaglehawk
Eaglehawk is a suburb within the City of Greater Bendigo in Victoria, located to the north-west of Bendigo's city centre on the Loddon Valley Highway. The area was established as a gold-mining town following the discovery of a significant gold nugget in 1851 by Joseph Crook, which sparked a rush that led to the township's establishment in 1852. The traditional owners of the area were the Dja Dja Wurrung people. Eaglehawk is now a residential suburb of Greater Bendigo, retaining strong heritage connections to its gold-rush past.
The Eaglehawk Hawks compete in the Bendigo Football Netball League and call Canterbury Park Oval home. For more information visit the official website, or follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
