East Burwood Rams Banners - Celebrating Every Ram Milestone

At FootyBanners.com, we understand how much a milestone means - to the player, the family and the club. Order a custom banner for your East Burwood Rams player and give that milestone the recognition it deserves.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team or Grand Final banner styles. Provide the player's name, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Liam Evans, #8, 100 Games. All banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper that can handle any bitter Melbourne winter at the oval.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Rams reach the same milestone together, our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both on a single quality printed banner. Just supply both players' names and guernsey numbers.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Our Team Banner accommodates 3 to 6 players in one design. Use a top-line message like "Go Rams!" and create a banner that fires up the whole club on game day.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A lasting keepsake for the clubrooms, garage or games room - perfect for any East Burwood Rams fan.

Grand Final Banners

Our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners are fully customised with your top and bottom messaging. If the East Burwood Rams Football Club is lining up for a big final, get in touch and we will help you design a banner that does them justice.

About East Burwood Rams Football Club

Origins and Founding

The East Burwood Football Club was founded in 1910 and began competing in the Box Hill Reporter District Football Association in 1911, making it one of the longest-running community clubs in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The club drew its early membership from what was then a largely rural district on the city's fringe. In 1925 East Burwood became a founding member of the Scoresby District Football Association, where the club captured its first two premierships in 1929 and 1930. The Rams then moved to the Federal Football League in 1931, winning the premiership in 1932 before departing after the 1937 season.

Club History

After 1940 East Burwood competed in the East Suburban Football League, winning the B Grade flag in 1954 and the A Grade flag in 1960. The club joined the Eastern Districts Football League (now the Eastern Football Netball League) in 1961 and established itself as a Division 1 force, claiming premierships in 1963, 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1973, 1976, 1985, 1987, 1992, 1999 and 2000. Financial pressures and player losses saw the club drop from Division 1 after 2013, and further restructuring placed East Burwood in the newly formed Division 4 for 2018. The Rams reached the 2019 Division 4 grand final and were awarded promotion for outstanding achievement in 2021, and now compete in Division 2 of the Eastern Football Netball League. Notable AFL alumni produced by the club include Josh Gibson (North Melbourne, Hawthorn), Robbie Gray (Port Adelaide), Andrew Carrazzo (Carlton) and Jordan Ridley (Essendon).

Home Ground

The Rams play their home matches at East Burwood Reserve on Burwood Highway, East Burwood - a ground the club has used throughout its long history in the eastern suburbs. The reserve is shared with the East Burwood Cricket Club and the Blackburn Cycling Club. In 2024, Federal Member for Chisholm Dr Carina Garland and Whitehorse Council announced joint funding for a new sporting pavilion at the ground to replace the existing facilities, with construction expected over the following two years. The upgraded pavilion will be fully accessible and will serve all three clubs sharing the reserve.

Community and Programs

East Burwood Football Netball Club fields junior football teams across multiple age groups, an Auskick program for children new to the game, and a senior netball arm that competes in its own competition alongside the football club. The club runs a Hall of Fame program to recognise its greatest long-serving members and players. In 2026 the club actively recruited for under-19s and junior girls teams, reflecting its commitment to growing participation at all levels. The Rams also partner with local organisations such as Nunawading Highway Patrol on road safety education for senior players.

Burwood East

Burwood East is a residential suburb in the City of Whitehorse local government area, situated approximately 17 kilometres east of Melbourne's CBD along Burwood Highway. The suburb covers around 4.3 square kilometres and had a population of 10,675 at the 2021 Census. It is bordered by Middleborough Road to the west, which separates it from the suburb of Burwood proper. Burwood East offers a mix of family-friendly residential streets and retail precincts, including Burwood One Shopping Centre, and is well-connected to Melbourne by the Eastern Freeway and several bus routes.

The Rams compete in Division 2 of the Eastern Football Netball League and call East Burwood Reserve home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
