Every banner is produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, ready for any cool Melbourne morning out at Edinburgh Reserve.

Two Warriors hitting the same milestone? Our Two Player banner celebrates both together on a single quality banner. Provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll take care of the rest.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

The Team Banner option covers 3 to 6 players on the one banner. Include a top-line message like "Go Eastern Warriors!" and make the whole club part of the celebration.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium and Large sizes, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Ideal for the clubrooms, home garage or games room - a proud reminder of what it means to be a Warrior.

Grand Final Banners

Our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text. If the Eastern Warriors Football Club is chasing a title, get in touch and we will design a banner that matches the occasion.

About Eastern Warriors AFL Masters Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Eastern Warriors AFL Masters Football Club is one of Melbourne's longest-running Masters AFL clubs, with a history stretching back to the inaugural Super Rules (Masters) football season in 1984, when the club joined under the name Eastern Districts Superrules Football Club. Over 40 years on, the club has evolved into the Eastern Warriors, bringing together men and women aged 35 through to their 70s to play football for fun, friendship and fitness. The club is based at Edinburgh Reserve in Springvale, in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

Club History

The Eastern Warriors compete in the AFL Masters Victoria Metropolitan competition, playing in age-graded divisions that allow players well past their junior or senior playing days to continue their football careers. The club offers Men's Over 35s, Men's Over 50s and Men's Over 55s teams, as well as a Women's Over 35s team - a comprehensive Masters program that caters to players across a wide age range. Having participated continuously since the inaugural 1984 Masters season, the Eastern Warriors have been part of the Masters AFL movement for its entire existence in Victoria. The club plays their home games at Edinburgh Reserve in Springvale and trains on Mondays and Wednesdays at the same venue.

Home Ground

The Eastern Warriors are based at Edinburgh Reserve in Springvale, which serves as both their training venue (Monday and Wednesday sessions) and home match ground. The reserve is located within Springvale, a vibrant and multicultural suburb in the City of Greater Dandenong approximately 22 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's CBD. Edinburgh Reserve provides the community hub for the Warriors' football operations year-round.

Community and Programs

The Eastern Warriors welcome players of all experience levels - from seasoned veterans looking to relive old glory, to complete beginners learning AFL for the first time. The club's philosophy centres on "footy for fun, fitness, friendship and sanity," making it an inclusive environment for players in the 35-plus age group. The Warriors are active on social media with over 820 Facebook followers and approximately 180 Instagram followers under @easternwarriors35. The club uses TeamApp to coordinate team selections, match information and club communications.

  • Footy Banner Information

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
