Edgewater Woodvale Eagles Banners - Soaring Milestones, Memorable Banners

When a young Eagle hits a milestone worth celebrating, FootyBanners.com is here to make it official. We create fully personalised footy banners for clubs like the Edgewater Woodvale Eagles - custom, quality, and built to be remembered.

Simple to Order

Choose from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Riley Evans, #9, 50 Games. Our permanent inks and heavy-duty paper are built to last through a blazing WA afternoon, making sure every run-through looks incredible.

Two Players, One Banner

If two Eagles are reaching the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner celebrates both at once. Just provide both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone, and we'll create a banner that honours them both equally.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Recognise the whole group with a Team Banner for 3-6 players. A great top-line message like "EAGLES - PREMIERS" gets the whole club fired up. Whether it's a premiership run or an end-of-season celebration, a Team Banner makes the moment unforgettable.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A fantastic way for an Eagles player to display their milestone at home or for the club to decorate their rooms with proud memories.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text, our Grand Final banners are designed to make an impression. Contact us for design advice and let's create a Grand Final banner the Edgewater Woodvale Eagles Football Club will be proud to run through.

About Edgewater Woodvale Eagles Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Edgewater Woodvale Junior Football Club (EWJFC) was incorporated in 1987, originally as the Edgewater Football Club. Based in the northern suburbs of Perth within the City of Joondalup, the club has grown over 39 years to serve the neighbouring communities of Edgewater and Woodvale. Known as the Eagles, the club competes in the Falcons (West Perth) District for its junior football program, playing against clubs including Whitford, Oceanridge, Joondalup-Kinross, Quinns Rocks, Wanneroo, Brighton, and Yanchep.

Club History

Since 1987, the Edgewater Woodvale Eagles have built a proud tradition as one of Perth's north coast junior football clubs. The club has been recognised as Club of the Year Award winner for 2021 and 2022, reflecting its commitment to player development, inclusivity, and community engagement. The club website records that many players have progressed from EWJFC to WAFL football and the AFL over the years. In 2025, the club launched its first all-girls program, the Edgewater Woodvale EaGALS, expanding access to the game for young women in the local area. The club also runs an active NAB AFL Auskick program for children from age five.

Home Ground

The Eagles play their home games at Emerald Park in Edgewater, a suburban sports reserve in the leafy northern suburbs of Perth. The ground provides facilities for both Auskick and junior football programs, with training sessions held weekly throughout the season. The Emerald Park precinct is close to the Yellagonga Regional Park and is well-positioned within the Joondalup corridor, making it accessible to families across the Edgewater and Woodvale catchment area.

Community and Programs

The EWJFC runs Auskick for children from Pre-Primary age, moving into junior Modified AFL and competition football from Year 3 upward. The club's junior program operates on a fixtured Sunday schedule with a focus on fair play, integrity, and the development of sportsmanship alongside football skills. The 2025 introduction of the EaGALS program marked a significant step in expanding female participation at the grassroots level. The club relies heavily on a volunteer community of coaches, team managers, and parents, and has accumulated a strong list of Life Members recognised for their service over many years.

Edgewater

Edgewater is a residential suburb of Perth located 23 kilometres north of the CBD, within the City of Joondalup local government area. With a population of 4,657 at the 2021 census, the suburb was approved as a suburb name in 1974 and takes its name from its location on the western edge of Lake Joondalup, which is surrounded by Yellagonga Regional Park. The suburb is served by Edgewater railway station and is adjacent to the Woodvale community to the south.

The Eagles compete in the Falcons (West Perth) District and call Emerald Park, Edgewater, home. Visit the club website for more information, and follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

  • Footy Banner Information

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
