Elizabeth Eagles Banners - Eagles Soar in the North

When the Elizabeth Eagles take the field on a cool Adelaide afternoon, a custom-designed FootyBanners.com run-through banner captures the fighting spirit of a club that has represented the Elizabeth community with pride. A great banner sets the tone and reminds every player of what they are running out to achieve.

Simple to Order

Ordering an Elizabeth Eagles banner is easy. Upload a player photo, add your message, and our design team handles the rest. A proof is sent back for sign-off before printing, so the finished banner looks exactly as you imagined.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Eagles together on one banner is a striking way to recognise a standout combination or celebrate co-captains who have led the club through a big season. The two-player banner creates an image the whole club will value long after the game is played.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the full squad with a team banner for end-of-season presentations or milestone events. Every Elizabeth Eagles player gets their moment in a group photograph that tells the story of a season's hard work and commitment to the club.

Wall Keepsake Banners

A wall keepsake banner is a permanent tribute to a great season or a special moment in the Eagles' history. Display it in the clubrooms, give it to a retiring favourite, or hang it at home as a lasting piece of Elizabeth Eagles history.

Grand Final Banners

When the Elizabeth Eagles reach the grand final, the moment deserves a banner that rises to the occasion. Our grand final banners are crafted for the biggest day of the season and give every Eagle the send-off they have earned.

About Elizabeth Eagles Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Elizabeth Football Club was founded in 1956 at Ridley Road Reserve in Elizabeth, a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. Established in the same era that the planned suburb of Elizabeth was being developed by the South Australian Housing Trust, the club has been a core part of the Elizabeth community since its earliest years. The club operated from Ridley Reserve until 1981, when it moved to its permanent home at Argana Park, where it has been based ever since. The club competes as the Elizabeth Eagles.

Club History

With nearly seven decades of history, the Elizabeth Eagles are one of the most prominent clubs in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The club fields senior men's teams in the Northern Football Sporting Association (NFSA) and runs juniors programs alongside their senior competition. Elizabeth Football Club is known as one of the strongest and most well-known sporting clubs in Adelaide's northern suburbs, having fielded senior, reserve, and junior teams continuously since 1956. The Eagles have competed at the highest level of northern suburban football and are a significant community institution in the City of Playford area. In 2025, the Eagles celebrated success again at state junior level.

Home Ground

The Eagles play their home matches at Argana Park in Elizabeth, which has been the club's base since 1981. The ground includes oval, clubroom, and sports centre facilities. The Elizabeth Eagles Sports Centre is located at Argana Park and provides bar, kitchen, and function facilities for the community. Elizabeth Oval, home of the Central District Football Club in the SANFL, is also located in the suburb and is a major regional football venue with a capacity of around 18,000 spectators.

Community and Programs

The Elizabeth Eagles support a wide range of programs including AFL Auskick, junior competitions from Under 8 onwards, and senior men's and Super Rules teams. The club's hall at Argana Park seats approximately 140 people and is available for community hire, reflecting the club's role as a community hub in the northern suburbs. The club has also been involved in youth development and outreach through the City of Playford's community sport programs.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is an outer northern suburb of Adelaide, located approximately 24 kilometres north of the city centre in the City of Playford local government area. Developed as a planned satellite city by the South Australian Housing Trust in the 1950s, Elizabeth grew rapidly to become one of Adelaide's largest northern communities. The suburb had a population of around 10,829 at the 2021 census. Elizabeth is known for its strong working-class community character and for being the hometown of rock musician Jimmy Barnes, who grew up in the suburb.

The Eagles compete in the Northern Football Sporting Association and call Argana Park, Elizabeth, home. Follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
