Estella Storm Banners - Women's Rugby League, Done Proud in the Riverina
The Estella Storm is breaking new ground in women's rugby league in the Wagga Wagga region, and FootyBanners.com is proud to help the Storm celebrate every milestone with a fully custom banner that matches the moment.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Maya Treloar, #6, 50 Games). Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that holds up through a warm NSW Riverina afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Storm players share a milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner gets them both in the spotlight together. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll take it from there.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Honouring 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option brings everyone together in one great design. Set a rallying top-line message like "Come on Storm!" and give the whole squad a banner they'll be proud to run through.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant keepsake for the Storm clubrooms or a supporter's home display.
Grand Final Banners
When the Storm are playing for the title, back them all the way with a Grand Final banner in 4.5m or 5.5m. The top and bottom text is fully customised for Estella Storm RLFC. Contact us early for wording and design support.
About Estella Storm RLFC
Origins and Founding
The Estella Storm RLFC was established in 2024 as a dedicated women's rugby league club based in Estella, a northern suburb of Wagga Wagga in southern New South Wales. The club competes in the Group 9 Rugby League competition's Women's Tackle grade, bringing a new women's rugby league presence to the rapidly growing Estella district. The Storm represents an exciting and expanding part of the Group 9 community sporting landscape, which has been operating out of Wagga Wagga since its foundation in 1923.
Club History
In just their second season of competition in 2025, the Storm made an immediate impact on the Group 9 Women's Tackle competition. The club reached the inaugural Group 9 Women's Tackle Grand Final on 20 September 2025, played at Geohex Park in Wagga Wagga, before going down 10-16 to the Young Cherrypickers in a hard-fought contest. Reaching the first-ever grand final of the competition in only their second year of existence was a remarkable achievement and signalled the Storm as one of the top women's rugby league clubs in the Riverina region.
Home Ground and Competition
The Storm compete within the Group 9 Rugby League structure, which covers Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas including Young, Gundagai, and the broader Riverina region. Group 9 Rugby League was formed in 1923 and currently runs five grades of competition: Under 18s, Women's Tackle, Women's League-Tag, Reserve Grade, and First Grade. Grand finals are traditionally held at McDonald's Park in Wagga Wagga.
Community and Programs
As a women's-focused club, the Estella Storm are part of a growing movement to expand women's participation in rugby league across regional New South Wales. The club draws players from across the Wagga Wagga area and is committed to providing a competitive and welcoming environment for women who want to play tackle rugby league at community level. The Storm's strong showing in 2025 helped raise the profile of women's rugby league across the Group 9 competition.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
