Whether it's a 50-game milestone or a season-ending achievement, FootyBanners.com has you covered with custom banners made specially for the Rovers. Show your pride and make your player's big day unforgettable.
Simple to Order
Choose your banner type - Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final - then provide the player's first name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example: Lachlan Mitchell, #7, 100 Games). All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands up to whatever a cold Victorian winter can throw at it.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two players sharing the same game milestone? Send us both names and guernsey numbers and we'll create a quality two-player banner that celebrates them both.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
With a Team Banner, 3–6 players can all be featured on the one banner. Add a top-line message such as "Go Rovers!" and make it a celebration the whole club will remember.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our keepsake banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for hanging in the Rovers' clubrooms, your garage, or your games room.
Grand Final Banners
Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, our Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice when ordering a Grand Final banner for Frankston Rovers Junior Football Club.
About Frankston Rovers Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Frankston Rovers Junior Football Club was established in 1966 and has been a fixture of the Frankston football community ever since. Based at Bruce Park in Frankston, the club was built around the ideal of providing a family-oriented, inclusive environment for young footballers across the Mornington Peninsula. Now operating for over five decades, the Rovers are one of the most established junior clubs in the region and compete in the Frankston and District Junior Football League (FDJFL), affiliated with AFL South East.
Club History
The Frankston Rovers JFC has produced an impressive list of players who have gone on to play at the highest levels of the game. The club counts Dermott Brereton - a five-time VFL/AFL premiership player with Hawthorn and one of the game's most iconic figures - among its alumni. Other graduates include AFL players Jeff White, Nathan Lonie, and Ryan Lonie, among a total of more than a dozen players to have made it to league level. This strong development record underscores the club's reputation as one of the Mornington Peninsula's premier junior football pathways.
Home Ground
The Rovers are based at Bruce Park in Frankston, a well-established community sporting facility that serves as the home base for training, match days, and club events. The ground has been the spiritual home of Frankston Rovers since the club's founding and remains central to the community football environment the club prides itself on.
Community and Programs
The Frankston Rovers JFC offers programs for players from under 8s all the way through to under 16s, catering for a wide range of ages and abilities. The club is recognised as a Good Sports club by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, reflecting its commitment to responsible and community-focused sporting practices. New and returning families are welcomed each season, with an emphasis on fun, development, and club culture that has defined the Rovers for generations.
Frankston
Frankston is a bayside suburb approximately 40 to 43 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, situated at the northern gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. With a suburb population of around 36,000, Frankston serves as one of the region's major commercial and residential hubs and is the terminus of Melbourne's south-eastern metro train line. The area is well known for its beach, foreshore, and proximity to the broader Mornington Peninsula.
The Rovers compete in the Frankston and District Junior Football League and call Bruce Park home. Visit their official website or follow them on Facebook for registrations, news, and match updates. Follow the club on Instagram for photos and updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
