About Mundulla Football and Netball Club
Origins and Founding
The Mundulla Football Club was one of two founding clubs of the Tatiara Football League (TFL), established when Mundulla and Bordertown met in May 1911 to form the competition. Mundulla won the inaugural 1911 TFL premiership and became one of the dominant clubs throughout the league's history. The club is based in Mundulla, South Australia, and today competes in the Kowree-Naracoorte-Tatiara Football League (KNT), fielding senior football and netball teams under the Tigers banner.

Club History
The Mundulla Tigers are one of the most successful clubs in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. During the TFL era, the Tigers claimed numerous flags across the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, and beyond, including multiple consecutive premierships in the early 1930s. When the TFL merged into the broader Kowree-Naracoorte-Tatiara competition, Mundulla continued to dominate - the club recorded nine premierships in 11 years through to 2017, cementing their status as the KNT's benchmark club. This sustained success is reflected in records held by the Tatiara Football League and reported in local media.

The Tigers play their home games in Mundulla, a small rural town in South Australia's southeast. The ground serves both the football and netball arms of the club, and on match days draws supporters from across the Tatiara district. The town recorded a population of 432 at the 2021 census, with a median age of 50 reflecting its longstanding farming community character. The broader Tatiara district serves a population of over 7,000 residents, with Bordertown as the main service centre.
