Hallam Hawks Football Club Banners - Celebrating the Mighty Hawks

Whether it is a 50-game milestone or a century of appearances, FootyBanners.com makes it simple to create a stunning custom banner for the Hallam Hawks. Our single player banners are designed to capture every proud moment the Hawks have shared on the field.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For player banners, simply supply the name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Baker, #22, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper, fully weatherproof and built to last through even the most blustery Melbourne winter.

Two Players, One Banner

Sharing a milestone with a teammate? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate two Hawks on the same run-through. Both players must be reaching the same milestone, and you will need both names, guernsey numbers, and the achievement to complete your order. A quality banner worthy of any Hawks match day.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Recognise a group of three to six players in one powerful Team Banner. A top-line message like "Hallam Hawks - Mighty Together" sets the tone, and the club name and milestone details complete the display. Perfect for finals series, club nights, and special round celebrations.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Whether hung in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room, they are a lasting tribute to a player's journey with the Hawks.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m widths, our Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text. If you want help with the design for Hallam Hawks Football Club's big day, get in touch and our team will be happy to assist.

About Hallam Hawks Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Hallam Hawks Football Club was established in 2012 through the merger of the Hallam Junior Football Club and the Hallam Superules Football Club. The new senior entity was accepted into the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL) and began competing in Division 3. The broader Hallam football community dates back much further - the club celebrated a 50th anniversary milestone in 2017, reflecting decades of grassroots football in the area. In 2013 the club merged with the Hallam Netball Club, creating the Hallam Hawks Football Netball Club as a united, multi-sport organisation.

Club History

The Hawks' early years in the SFNL were challenging, but the club showed steady improvement before breaking through for a maiden finals appearance in 2016. Preliminary final appearances followed in 2017 and 2022, and the club went on to claim the Division 4 premiership, including the Reserves flag, in a memorable season. Promotion back to Division 3 followed, and the Hawks have continued to build as a competitive force in the competition. The club made history as the first SFNL club to field teams across every competition format, with sides in the Senior, Reserves, Thirds, and Under 19 divisions.

Home Ground

The Hallam Hawks play their home games at Hallam Recreation Reserve, located on Frawley Road in Hallam, Victoria 3803. The reserve serves as the hub of the club's football and netball activities. The facility supports training and match-day functions for all the club's teams across multiple divisions.

Community and Programs

The Hawks run a strong junior football program through the Hallam Junior Football Club, providing a clear pathway from junior ranks into the senior competition. The club also fields women's football and netball sides, making it a genuinely inclusive community club that caters to players of all ages and abilities. The merged football and netball structure means families can be involved across multiple sports under the one club umbrella, strengthening the club's roots in the local Hallam community.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
