St Arnaud Saints Banners - Marking Every Milestone in Style

From a first-game debut to a career-defining 200 games, FootyBanners.com is proud to help the St Arnaud Football Club community celebrate its milestones with a fully custom banner made to last.

Simple to Order

Select from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options, then provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Matt Holland, #5, 100 Games). Banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands up to a cold Victorian afternoon at the Saints' home ground.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Saints players share the same milestone on the same match day, our Two Player banner brings both stories together on one striking design. Just provide both players' details and we'll take it from there.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Need to celebrate a group of 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option makes it easy. Pick a rallying top-line message like "Go Saints!" and give the whole squad a banner that captures the moment perfectly.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant addition to the Saints clubrooms or a proud display in a supporter's home or games room.

Grand Final Banners

Step up for finals with a Grand Final banner in 4.5m or 5.5m. Both the top and bottom lines are fully customised for the St Arnaud Football Club. Reach out to us for design guidance before the biggest game of the year.

About St Arnaud Football Club

Origins and Founding

The St Arnaud Football Club was established in 1887, making it one of the longest-running clubs in country Victoria. Competing in red, white and blue, the Saints have been a foundation club in the North Central Football League (NCFL) and a cornerstone of sporting life in St Arnaud and the wider Northern Grampians region for well over a century.

Club History and Premierships

St Arnaud has won 11 NCFL senior premierships: in 1930, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1948, 1958, 1978, 1988, 1998, 1999 and 2015. The club was particularly dominant in the early NCFL era, winning four flags in five seasons from 1930 to 1934, and returned to premiership glory with back-to-back titles in 1998 and 1999. Their most recent flag came in 2015, making St Arnaud one of the competition's most successful clubs in terms of total premierships won.

Club Legends

Several St Arnaud players are celebrated in the club's and league's history. Daniel Needs is one of the Saints' greatest players, having won six club Best and Fairest awards and topped the goalkicking list nine times during his career. The club's Hall of Fame recognises luminaries including Maurie Wood, Frank Alexander, Kevin Ward, Ian Fithall, John Goode, Alistair Egan and Brock Ezard - a roll call that reflects the depth of talent and commitment that has defined the club across generations.

Home Ground

The Saints play their home games at Lord Nelson Park in St Arnaud, a ground that has hosted NCFL matches and community football for decades. The ground serves as the central sporting venue for the Saints' home fixtures across senior and junior competitions.

St Arnaud and the Northern Grampians

St Arnaud is a regional town in Victoria's Northern Grampians Shire, situated 244 kilometres northwest of Melbourne. The town recorded a population of 2,318 in the 2021 Census and is known for its gold-mining history, which shaped its early settlement in the latter half of the 19th century. Football has been part of the community since 1887, with the Saints serving as one of St Arnaud's most enduring institutions.

The Saints compete in the North Central Football League and call Lord Nelson Park home. Follow St Arnaud Football Club on Facebook for match day updates, news, and club announcements throughout the season.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
