Fremantle City Junior Football Club Banners - Made for Milestone Moments in Fremantle
When a young Dockers player reaches a milestone worth celebrating, FootyBanners.com is the place to order a custom banner that does the occasion justice. Whether it's 50 games, 100 games, or any achievement in between, we create stunning personalised banners the whole club will remember.
Simple to Order
Choose from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. Just provide the player's full name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Morris, #7, 100 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent, weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, built to survive even the most blustering Perth winter matchday.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two players hitting the same milestone on the same day? Our Two Player Banner is the perfect solution. Simply supply both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone - and we'll create a quality banner the whole club can run through together.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Got 3 to 6 players all reaching milestones at once? Our Team Banner option lets you honour everyone in a single banner. Use a top-line message like "Go Dockers - Milestone Day!" to set the tone, and give your players a send-off they won't forget.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick, recyclable paper with waterproof inks that won't fade. Perfect for hanging in the clubrooms, garage, or games room, they give Dockers players a lasting reminder of their football journey.
Grand Final Banners
We offer Grand Final Banners in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your top and bottom text. If you're not sure where to start with the design, contact us - we're happy to help the Fremantle City Junior Football Club get it right.
About Fremantle City Junior Football Club
Origins and Founding
Australian rules football has been played at Dick Lawrence Oval in Beaconsfield since around 1953, when Hilton Park JFC first made the ground home. In 1987, Hilton Park JFC and South Fremantle JFC - two clubs that had grown too small to compete independently in the South Fremantle Bulldogs District - merged to form the Fremantle Hawks Junior Football Club. The merged club introduced junior football across multiple age groups and quickly became a fixture of the Fremantle community.
By 2010 the Hawks were again struggling with youth-grade player numbers, losing talent to rival clubs. A working party was formed in July 2010, and on 28 July 2010, at a packed Special Meeting of members, parents and guardians, the club voted unanimously to partner with the Fremantle Football Club (AFL) and rebrand. The club became the Fremantle City Dockers Junior Football Club - one of only a handful of AFL community partner clubs in Western Australia.
Club History
Since the 2010 rebrand and partnership with the Fremantle Dockers, the club has experienced remarkable growth. Membership skyrocketed from struggling numbers to an average of 500 registered players. The club has won 8 premierships since the partnership began, and by 2019 had accumulated enough members to send Year 12 players through as Life Members in groups - 7 in 2018 and 9 in 2019.
Brownlow medallist Brad Hardie and Sandover and Simpson medallist Andrew Krakouer both played junior football at the club in its earlier Hilton Park JFC days, reflecting a ground with a long history of producing talented players. The club's Year 12 teams have had the honour of playing curtain-raiser matches at both Subiaco Oval and Optus Stadium.
Home Ground
The club plays at Dick Lawrence Oval in Beaconsfield, an inner suburb of Fremantle, Western Australia. The oval has hosted junior Australian rules football continuously since around 1953 and sits at the heart of the club's connection to the Fremantle and Beaconsfield community. The ground is accessible from central Fremantle and serves as the hub for all the club's training nights and home games.
Community and Programs
The Fremantle City Dockers JFC runs programs from Auskick right through to Year 12 and beyond, and is recognised as a Gold Level Quality Club in the South Fremantle Bulldogs District. The club has a large group of female players and prides itself on being a family-friendly, community-minded club. As an official partner club of the Fremantle AFL club, juniors benefit from visits by Docker players, access to match-day tickets, and the resources of one of Australia's premier AFL organisations.
Beaconsfield and Fremantle
Beaconsfield is an inner suburb of Fremantle situated approximately 18 kilometres south of the Perth CBD. Fremantle itself is one of Australia's most historically significant port cities and has been a stronghold of Australian rules football since the 19th century. The area is known for its strong community identity, Victorian-era architecture, café culture and its passionate local sports following. Fremantle is home to the AFL's Fremantle Dockers, who have played at Optus Stadium since 2018.
The Dockers compete in the South Fremantle Bulldogs District and call Dick Lawrence Oval, Beaconsfield home. Visit the club website for registration details and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
