Ipswich Eagles Banners - Honour Every Eagles Milestone
From a player's 50-game milestone to a grand final at Limestone Park, FootyBanners.com makes it easy to create a custom banner that celebrates the Ipswich Eagles in style. Our banners are designed for proud Eagles supporters who know that every milestone deserves to be recognised.
Simple to Order
Select from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final Banner to suit the occasion. For individual milestones, provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and achievement - for example, Tim Walsh, #3, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, ready for any sweltering Queensland afternoon at Limestone Park.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Eagles players sharing the same milestone on match day? Our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them both together. Both players must reach the same milestone, and you'll need each player's name and guernsey number. A fantastic way to mark a special occasion for the club.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Bring the whole squad together with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Add a powerful top-line message like "Eagles - AFL Queensland Premiers" and make it a day the club will never forget. Perfect for finals campaigns and club milestone events.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Whether it's the clubrooms at Limestone Park, your garage, or your games room - a Wall Keepsake Banner is a lasting tribute to what it means to be an Ipswich Eagle.
Grand Final Banners
When the Ipswich Eagles line up for the biggest game of the year, the banner needs to match the moment. Grand Final Banners are available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Get in touch for design advice and we'll help make it something special.
About Ipswich Eagles AFC
Origins and Founding
Ipswich Eagles Australian Football Club was founded in 2001, growing out of the Australian Rules football community associated with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) base at Amberley, near Ipswich. From its formation, the club built strong ties to the defence force community, and at the start of the 2001 season the Eagles relocated to Limestone Park in the centre of Ipswich, transitioning from a team primarily focused on service personnel to a broader community club open to all players. The club competes in South East Queensland Australian Football League (SEQAFL) competitions across men's and women's divisions.
Club History
The Eagles have been a consistent finals presence in AFL Queensland competitions since the mid-2000s, reaching the grand final in 2004, 2005, 2017, and 2018 in senior men's competition, as well as the reserves grand final in 2012. The club claimed its first premiership in 2019 when the women's team took out the flag, a milestone that underlined the strength of the Eagles' women's program. With high standards of fitness embedded in the club's culture from its defence force origins, the Eagles have developed a reputation as a well-organised and competitive club across both men's and women's competitions.
Home Ground
The Eagles call Limestone Park home, a major sporting precinct located in the centre of Ipswich, Queensland. Limestone Park hosts multiple sports and has served as the Eagles' primary ground since the club's move there in 2001. The park's central Ipswich location gives the club good access to players and supporters from across the city and surrounding western suburbs of Brisbane.
Community and Programs
The Ipswich Eagles field men's and women's teams across multiple SEQAFL divisions, providing competitive football for adult players in the Ipswich region. The club has a strong emphasis on fitness and discipline, traits inherited from its defence force origins, while welcoming players from all backgrounds. The Eagles have grown their women's program significantly since the mid-2010s and the 2019 premiership reflects the investment the club has made in supporting women's football in Ipswich.
Ipswich
Ipswich is a city in South East Queensland, located approximately 40 kilometres south-west of Brisbane's CBD and situated at the confluence of the Bremer and Brisbane Rivers. It is one of Queensland's oldest cities, with a history dating back to 1827 as a convict settlement, and served as an important centre of Queensland's coal mining and railway industries throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Home to RAAF Base Amberley - Australia's largest operational air force base - Ipswich has a long connection to the Australian defence community. The city has grown substantially in recent decades as part of the South East Queensland urban expansion, and is now home to approximately 230,000 people.
The Eagles compete in the South East Queensland AFL and call Limestone Park, Ipswich home. Visit the club at ipswicheaglesafl.com.au, follow them on Facebook, or on Instagram.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
