Diamond Creek Demons Junior Football Club Banners - Celebrating the Next Generation of Demons
From first games to junior milestones, FootyBanners.com helps Diamond Creek families celebrate the next generation of Demons. Every banner is custom made to mark a young player's achievement with real pride.
Simple to Order
Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner. Just send us the junior player's name, surname, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Matt Smith, #43, 50 Games - and we will take care of the rest. Every banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to handle a bitter Melbourne winter without fading.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two young Demons reaching the same milestone on the same day? A Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them together. Simply provide both names and guernsey numbers for a quality banner that marks the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players, perfect for celebrating a junior team milestone together. Add a top-line message like "Go Demons!" for a run-through banner that gets the whole team fired up on game day.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks so they last. A great way to mark a junior player's milestone in the bedroom, clubrooms, or games room at home.
Grand Final Banners
Heading to the junior grand final? Our Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Get in touch and we will help design something that does the Diamond Creek Demons Junior Football Club proud.
About Diamond Creek Demons Junior Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Diamond Creek Junior Football Club (DCJFC) is the junior arm of the Diamond Creek Football Netball Club, which was formed in 1904 as a founding member of the Whittlesea District Football Association. Over the decades the junior section has grown into an established feature of football in the Nillumbik Shire, now fielding teams from Under 9s through to Under 17s, together with an Auskick program for young beginners taking their first steps in the game.
Club History
DCJFC has built a strong reputation for its on-field results and off-field culture, and in 2017 was named the NFNL Junior Club of the Year in recognition of its commitment to player development and community involvement. The junior club has produced numerous players who have gone on to senior football and, in some cases, the AFL, continuing a pathway shared with the senior Diamond Creek Football Club, whose past players include Collingwood premiership captain Syd Coventry, his brother Gordon Coventry, and more recent AFL players Rhyce Shaw and Heath Shaw.
Home Ground
DCJFC plays its home games at both Coventry Oval and Marngrook Oval in Diamond Creek, grounds shared with the senior club and equipped with an electronic scoreboard and a modern pavilion.
Community and Programs
The club fields junior teams from Under 9s to Under 17s alongside its Auskick program, and works closely with the senior club to give players a structured pathway into senior football as they progress through the age groups. DCJFC also runs an annual Fight MND charity match, reflecting the "One Club, One Family" spirit behind the club's Fun, Fair, Football motto.
Diamond Creek
Diamond Creek is a suburb of Melbourne within the Shire of Nillumbik, located about 23 kilometres north-east of the Melbourne CBD. First established in 1841 and recording a population of 12,503 at the 2021 census, the town grew up around a 19th century gold mining industry before developing into the leafy residential area it is today.
DCJFC's junior teams compete in the Northern Football Netball League and train and play out of Coventry Oval and Marngrook Oval. Visit the junior club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

Rigging Your Banner
-
Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.
-
This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.
-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
