Horsham Demons Banners - Backing the Dees Every Step of the Way
From a first senior game to a milestone appearance, FootyBanners.com helps the Wimmera community celebrate its Demons in style. Each banner is custom made to mark the achievement of a player pulling on the Horsham jumper.
Simple to Order
Pick from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner. Send through the player's name, surname, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Matt Smith, #43, 150 Games - and we will handle the rest. Every banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, tough enough for a cold Wimmera winter morning at City Oval.
Two Players, One Banner
If two Demons are reaching the same milestone on the same day, a Two Player Banner celebrates them side by side. Just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a lasting keepsake of the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players, ideal for celebrating a group achievement together. A top-line message like "Up the Dees!" sends the team out with the whole club behind them.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Choose Small, Medium, or Large for a Wall Keepsake Banner printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that will last for years. A great way to show Demons pride in the clubrooms, garage, or games room.
Grand Final Banners
Get ready for grand final day with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us and we will help design something worthy of the Horsham Demons Football Netball Club.
About Horsham Demons Football Netball Club
Origins and Founding
Horsham Demons Football Netball Club was founded in 1885, making it one of the oldest sporting clubs in the Wimmera region. According to the club's own history page, the Demons have brought players, families and supporters together in Horsham for close to 140 years, growing from a single football team into today's combined football and netball club.
Club History
The Demons have won more than 30 premierships, including an extraordinary run of ten consecutive flags between 2003 and 2012. Ten players have graduated from Horsham into the AFL across six different clubs, most notably dual Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes, who won the game's highest individual honour in 2003 and 2006 after starting his career at Horsham. The club also keeps detailed honour boards of its presidents and coaches dating back to 1946.
Home Ground
Horsham Demons play their home matches at City Oval in Horsham, a ground that has hosted the club for generations and remains the heart of matchday life for players and supporters.
Community and Programs
Beyond senior football, the Demons run an extensive netball program with grades competing since at least 1993, and junior football pathways that include an Under 16s/17s competition dating back to 1976 and an Under 14s competition since 1999. The club counts more than 500 members and 173 life members among its supporter base, reflecting a strong multi-generational connection to the Horsham community.
Horsham
Horsham is a regional city in western Victoria's Wimmera region, and is the largest city in that region. Located about 297 kilometres north-west of Melbourne within the Rural City of Horsham, Horsham recorded a population of 16,985 at the 2021 census, serving as the commercial and administrative hub for the surrounding Wimmera farming district.
The Demons compete in the Wimmera Football Netball League and call City Oval home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
