Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Aaron Sullivan, #16, 150 Games. Kenwick Royals banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, ready for the blazing WA afternoon at Mills Park Centre.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Royals players hit the same milestone at the same game, our Two Player banner celebrates them both on one quality keepsake. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a banner they'll both want to keep.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option caters for 3 to 6 players and is perfect for end-of-season tributes or group milestones at Kenwick. A top-line message like "Kenwick Royals - Premiers" sets the tone for a celebration the whole club will enjoy. Go the Royals!

About Kenwick Royals
Origins and Founding
The Kenwick Football Club was founded in 1948 in the south-east Perth suburb of Kenwick, Western Australia. Known as the Mighty Royals, the club began competing in local metropolitan competitions before joining the Sunday Football League (SFL), which operated from 1984 to 2008. The women's side, known as the Angels, was established alongside the senior men's program and has grown into a key part of the club's identity.
Club History
Kenwick cemented its place as the most successful club in Sunday Football League history with eight senior premierships - 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006 - a remarkable record built under coaches Mick Hanley and his brother Gavin Hanley. The earlier era saw the club win the SSMFL League title in 1983. After the Sunday Football League concluded in 2008, the Royals transitioned to the Perth Football League (WAAFL), where they have since claimed two senior premierships: the C3 flag in 2014 and the E1 flag in 2023. The Angels have been equally decorated, winning WAFA premierships in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2005, and 2008. One of the club's most celebrated alumni is Ted Kilmurray, who won the 1958 Sandover Medal during his career with East Perth in the WAFL - the Royals were named after that club.
Home Ground
The Royals play their home games at Mills Park Complex, located at 86 Brixton Street, Beckenham - on the Kenwick side of the suburb boundary. The facility is supported by the City of Gosnells through its Community Sponsorship Program and serves as the base for both the men's and women's programs, as well as junior football through affiliated clubs in the area.
Community and Programs
The Kenwick Football Club has operated for more than 75 years as a cornerstone of the local community. The club runs junior pathways alongside the senior and women's programs, giving young players from Kenwick and surrounding suburbs a direct route from grassroots football through to senior competition. The club's Future Fund initiative, launched to support long-term development, reflects the Royals' commitment to building beyond the field for the next generation of players and volunteers.
Kenwick
Kenwick is a mixed residential and light industrial suburb in the City of Gosnells, located approximately 17 kilometres south-east of the Perth CBD. With a population of around 5,684 residents at the 2021 Census, Kenwick is a family-oriented community bordered by Beckenham, Maddington, and Gosnells. The suburb is well connected via Kenwick railway station on the Armadale line and has strong local facilities including parks, schools, and sporting clubs.
The Royals compete in the Perth Football League (WAAFL) and call Mills Park Complex in Kenwick home. Visit the club website for news and membership information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
