Korumburra-Bena Junior Giants Banners - Honour Every Junior Milestone
From a player's first 10-game milestone to team end-of-season tributes, FootyBanners.com produces custom banners built for every Giants celebration. A personalised Giants banner from FootyBanners.com is the perfect way to recognise the hard work and dedication of your young footballers.
Simple to Order
Select from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. For individual banners, provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Riley Stevens, #11, 50 Games. Banners are produced with permanent weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, durable enough for a crisp South Gippsland morning at Coleman Park.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Junior Giants are hitting the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner is the perfect solution. Both players must share the identical game milestone. Simply send us both names and guernsey numbers, and we'll produce a great two-player banner for the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrate 3 to 6 Giants players together with our Team Banner option. A top-line message like "Giants Pride!" makes a powerful statement and a wonderful keepsake for the whole group. Head to FootyBanners.com to get yours sorted.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, made with thick recyclable paper and waterproof inks. Hang your Junior Giants banner at the clubrooms, in a garage, or in the games room - a lasting reminder of a great season in South Gippsland footy.

Run the Junior Giants through a 4.5m or 5.5m Grand Final banner customised with your top and bottom text. The Korumburra-Bena Junior Giants Football Club run-through banner brings the energy and excitement that every Grand Final moment deserves. Contact us for design advice.
About Korumburra-Bena Junior Giants Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Korumburra-Bena Junior Giants Football Club is the junior arm of the Korumburra Bena Football Netball Club, a club with deep roots stretching back well over a century in South Gippsland. The Korumburra Football Club's history in the South Gippsland Football Association dates to the 1920s, while the Bena Football Club was a founding member of the Bass Valley-Wonthaggi and District Football League in 1955. In 2001, these two proud local clubs merged to form the Korumburra Bena Bulldogs, uniting two communities under a single banner. In 2015, the club underwent a significant rebrand, adopting the name and identity of the Korumburra Bena Giants - the identity still carried by the club's junior players today. The full club history is documented on the KBFNC Giants website.
Club History
The Giants entered the West Gippsland Football Netball League in 2017, expanding the club's competitive presence across the region. That same year, the club fielded its first Youth Girls team in the Southern Gippsland Junior Football Competition (SGJFC), marking an important step in growing female participation in the sport. The senior club's A Grade netball side claimed the 2025 WGFNL premiership, adding another flag to the club's proud history. The junior program competes in the SGJFC and has consistently provided a development pathway from junior football into the senior Giants ranks. A Veterans team for players aged 35 and over is being introduced in 2026, ensuring long-term connection to the club for past and present players.
Home Ground
The Korumburra Bena Giants play their senior and junior matches at the Korumburra Showgrounds, located in the heart of Korumburra. The Showgrounds facility serves the broader community as a multi-sport venue and is well positioned to serve the club's growing membership base across the Korumburra-Bena region. The junior teams compete at grounds within the SGJFC competition catchment, primarily based in and around South Gippsland.
Community and Programs
The Korumburra-Bena Junior Giants currently field Under 10s, Under 12s, and Under 14s teams in the Southern Gippsland Junior Football Competition, with plans to add a girls team in 2026. The program aims to provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment where young players can develop their skills, teamwork, and love of Australian rules football. The club's junior program is backed by experienced coaches and community volunteers, and serves as an important pathway into the senior WGFNL Giants program. The parent club also operates netball programs across multiple grades, making the Korumburra Bena Football Netball Club a true all-codes community club in South Gippsland.
Korumburra
Korumburra is a town located on the South Gippsland Highway, approximately 120 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, in the South Gippsland Shire local government area. -
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
