Kwinana Junior Knights Banners - Every Young Knight Deserves a Banner
From debut day nerves to milestone celebrations, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that give every Kwinana Junior Knights player the recognition they deserve. Make your young star's big moment one to remember.
Simple to Order
We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Cooper Reid, #2, 50 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is built to handle a blazing WA afternoon at the ground without any trouble.
Two Players, One Banner
When two young Knights share the same milestone, a Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them both on one quality keepsake. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a banner they will both treasure.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and make game day something the whole club will be talking about. A top-line message like "Go Knights!" captures the energy and spirit of a junior program the whole Kwinana community is proud of.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stand the test of time. A Kwinana Junior Knights keepsake banner looks great in the clubrooms, on the bedroom wall, or in the family games room.
Grand Final Banners
Make grand final day for the Kwinana Junior Knights truly unforgettable with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice and let's create something the whole club will love.
About Kwinana Junior Knights
Origins and Founding
The Kwinana Junior Knights Football Club traces its roots to the mid-1950s, when an area of land was annexed from Rockingham to create the Kwinana Districts and the Medina Football Club was born. By 1959, the Medina club had 110 boys playing football. In the years that followed, a rival junior club - the Calista Football Club - also emerged in the area. In the early 1980s, the Medina and Calista clubs joined forces at Calista Oval, adopting the name Kwinana Junior Knights Football Club. In 2019, the club celebrated its 60th year of junior football in the Kwinana area. The club is affiliated with the South Fremantle District competition.
Club History
Since the merger in the early 1980s, the Kwinana Junior Knights have been an integral part of the local community, providing Australian rules football opportunities for children from Pre-Primary through to Year 12. The club runs age-group teams across a range of competitions, including Auskick and Superkick programs for the youngest players, a junior program for Years 3 to 6, youth competitions for Years 7 to 12, and girls-only competitions. The Junior Knights feed directly into the senior Kwinana Knights Football Club, creating a strong football pathway through the Kwinana community.
Home Ground
In 2009, the Kwinana Junior Knights relocated from the Medina Senior facility to Fiona Harris Pavilion at Orelia Oval, with support from the Town of Kwinana. The relocation came after an expansion in membership numbers made the previous ground unsustainable. Orelia Oval offers two full-size playing surfaces and a modern pavilion facility, providing an excellent environment for junior football in the Kwinana area.
Community and Programs
The Kwinana Junior Knights place a strong emphasis on inclusiveness and family participation, welcoming players of all skill levels. The club offers Auskick programs for the youngest participants, structured junior competitions, youth competitions, and girls-only competitions. The close relationship with the senior Kwinana Knights creates a complete football pathway for young players in the region, and the club works alongside AFL West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers development pathways for elite talent identification.
Kwinana
Kwinana is a coastal suburb and district approximately 40 kilometres south of Perth CBD in Western Australia. Originally established as an industrial area to support the BP refinery and other heavy industry, Kwinana has grown into a vibrant community with a diverse population of around 40,000 residents across the broader Kwinana area. The suburb of Orelia, where the Junior Knights are based, sits at the heart of this community. Local sporting clubs play a central role in community life in Kwinana, providing social connection and healthy activity for residents of all ages.
The Junior Knights compete in the South Fremantle District competition and call Orelia Oval, Kwinana, home. Visit the club website for registration details and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow on Instagram for updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
