Mazenod Panthers Banners - Old College Pride, Every Game

Whether it's a milestone run-through or a grand final entrance, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners made for the Mazenod Panthers. Celebrate your player with a banner as proud as the club itself.

Simple to Order

We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Adrian Moore, #16, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is built to handle a cold Melbourne winter morning without losing a drop of quality.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Panthers mark the same milestone, a Two Player Banner is the ideal way to celebrate them both together. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake banner they will both treasure.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and give game day the atmosphere it deserves. A top-line message like "Go Panthers!" captures the old college spirit and sends the team out fired up and ready to compete.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stand the test of time. A Mazenod Panthers keepsake banner looks fantastic in the clubrooms, the garage, or the family games room.

Grand Final Banners

Make the Mazenod Panthers grand final entrance one to remember with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us and our team will help you design something the whole club will be proud of.

About Mazenod Panthers

Origins and Founding

The Mazenod Panthers are the All Abilities football team of the Mazenod Old Collegians Football Club (OCFC), based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs. The Mazenod OCFC was founded in 1978 as the old boys' club of Mazenod College in Mulgrave, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018. The Panthers were established to provide inclusive Australian rules football opportunities for people with an intellectual disability, competing in the AFLVIC/Football Integration Development Association (FIDA) competition - a 16-club Victorian competition that has grown to become one of the leading all-abilities football competitions in Australia.

Club History

The Mazenod OCFC has a proud competition history, winning senior premierships in 1992 and 1993, reserve premierships in 1991, and the under-19 premiership in 1990. The OCFC competes in the Eastern Football League (EFL) and has developed numerous talented players over four decades of competition. The Panthers program is a more recent initiative, representing the club's commitment to inclusiveness and community engagement. FIDA games are played every second Sunday during the football season, with finals held in August, giving Panthers players a structured and meaningful competitive environment throughout the year.

Home Ground

The Mazenod Old Collegians Football Club is based in Mulgrave in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, playing out of grounds in the Mulgrave and Glen Waverley area. The Panthers train on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at the same facilities, making the ground a hub of activity throughout the week for both the main club and the All Abilities program. The facilities are shared with Mazenod College, strengthening the connection between the school and its football club community.

Community and Programs

The Mazenod Panthers All Abilities program is open to all people with an intellectual disability, regardless of ability level. The club fields multiple teams in the FIDA competition and the club's vision is to create the best all-abilities football experience, where success is measured by each player's personal and athletic growth rather than simply match results. The Panthers are supported by a dedicated committee of volunteers and coaches who are passionate about making Australian rules football accessible to everyone. New players are encouraged to attend training on a no-obligation basis before formally registering.

Mulgrave

Mulgrave is a suburb in Melbourne's south-eastern corridor, approximately 24 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Monash. The suburb is home to Monash University's Clayton campus nearby, and a strong mix of residential and commercial activity. The area has a diverse, multicultural community and strong local sporting culture. The Mazenod College precinct in Mulgrave has been a focal point for the local football community since the OCFC's foundation in 1978, with strong participation from alumni, families, and local residents.

The Panthers compete in the AFLVIC/FIDA All Abilities competition based in Mulgrave. Visit the club website for information on the Panthers program, and follow the Panthers on Facebook for match day updates and club news.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
