Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper built to handle a sweltering Queensland afternoon out at Noosaville. Durable, vibrant, and ready for the big occasion.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two Tigers at once? Our Two Player Banner lets you recognise both players on a single banner - just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone they're reaching. Double the pride, one outstanding banner.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations

About Noosa Tigers Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Noosa Tigers Australian Football Club was founded in 1970 when a public meeting was held at the Royal Mail Hotel in Tewantin on 26 January to form a new football club on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The club grew out of the broader Sunshine Coast Australian Football League established in 1969, building on football connections that stretched back to a Brisbane fixture game played at the Cooroy Showgrounds in 1952. From those early meetings in Tewantin, the Noosa District Australian Football Club quickly gained a competitive foothold in the region.
Club History
The Noosa Tigers are one of Queensland football's most successful regional clubs, claiming 11 senior premierships including wins in 1973, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1985, 2010, 2011, 2019 and 2020. The 1975 grand final saw the club defeat Maroochydore 15.18.108 to 11.4.70, and the official opening of their Weyba Road ground in Noosaville took place that same year on 30 March. The Tigers have also claimed grand final runner-up positions in 1970, 1972, 1979, 1982, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1994, 2017 and 2018. In 2021 the club was admitted to the QAFL seniors and reserves competition, marking its entry into Queensland's premier competition. The women's team won the QFA Division 2 Women's premiership in 2020. The Tigers have also faced competition from Mayne FC in memorable grand finals, including the 2014 QFA North grand final.
Home Ground
The Noosa Tigers play their home games at Rococo Oval, located at 149 Weyba Road, Noosaville QLD 4566. The ground was officially opened on 30 March 1975 by the Queensland Minister for Sport, the Hon. John Herbert MLA. Facilities at the ground have been developed over decades, with early improvements including floodlighting, netball courts and a basketball court added in the mid-1970s with Queensland Government subsidies. The club's address on Weyba Road remains the heart of Noosa football.
Community and Programs
The Noosa Tigers cater for players across senior men's, senior women's and junior football. The club launched its AFLW team in 2020, immediately claiming the QFA Division 2 Women's premiership. The Tigers are active across social media with over 5,500 Facebook followers and more than 3,600 Instagram followers, reflecting a large and engaged supporter base across the Sunshine Coast. The club is a cornerstone of the Noosaville and Noosa Heads sporting community.
Noosaville, Sunshine Coast
Noosaville is a suburb within the Noosa Shire on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, situated alongside the Noosa River approximately 150 kilometres north of Brisbane. The Noosa Shire is renowned nationally for its natural environment, including Noosa National Park and the Noosa Biosphere Reserve, and attracts visitors and new residents seeking coastal lifestyle living. The area has a relatively small permanent residential population but a high-profile sporting culture, with the Noosa Triathlon one of Australia's most iconic annual events. The Tigers are an integral part of this tight-knit community.
The Tigers compete in the QAFL and call Rococo Oval, Noosaville home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
